....I have one special night that my wife and I are searching for somewhere different when we are there in July, and it is down to these... ~Tao ~Casa Playa ~Mizumi Any rec's are welcome, pro's and con's, etc.....thanks.
How is the Teppanyaki experience (most places like are usually a lot of fun) or is the sit-down part of the restaurant an experience not to be missed? We're not really Sushi or Sashimi fans but the menu in the restaurant section looks like there are a lot of very good choices.
Been to all those once with both Mizumi and Casa visits within the last year and really do not have any need to revisit. Not too much being memorable from the dining experiences at those restaurants. Based on vibe of those options, take a look at Delilah at Wynn (keeping you on the north side of the strip) or Beauty and Essex at Cosmo or Mayfair at Bellagio.
I like the Teppanyaki experience at Mizumi much more than the rest of the restaurant, which is also incredible. I’d say that if you enjoy Teppan then Mizumi is definitely worth it. FWIW, it’s my favorite Vegas restaurant and when I’m staying at Wynn or Palazzo it’s on my must-do list.
Mizumi all day. That Snake River Farms Wagyu sirloin might be the tastiest, most flavorful steak I've ever had in my life. The vegetables are next-level fresh and delicious.
If you're lucky enough to get to Mizumi, ask for Stacey, Heather or Jessica as your server. They have been there for years and are incredible at curating a meal. Stacey is one of my favorite servers at any restaurant, anywhere. BTW, the menu is new with their excellent new chef Jeff Ramsey. It falls heavier on the sushi side than before Chef Ramsey is a certified Sushi Master (the first non Japanese to earn that distinction) but the regulars are still there and it's a great dining experience. The remodel is really beautiful.
