Decided to start playing at MGM properties again after a 4 year hiatus.

So I took 3 trips to Vegas in the last two months. One in December two in January. One was at Bellagio, one at NYNY and one at the Delano. All trips the host took off all charges and threw in some FP.

2 days per trip. $25000 coin in per day. Total loss between the three trips was $13000. I earned 460000 Tier Credits from gaming only and am platinum. I also earned over $400 in express comps.

My offers are 4 comped nights anywhere $75 FP and $100 in resort credit.

Before all of this play I got two nights comped and $50 resort credit.

What gives here? These offers seem like a joke.

Have you contacted a host or just looking at what the website offers?

My guess is they are only looking at last quarter's play for this quarter's offers with January not coming into play until next quarter.

    Hi Shock,

I’ve contacted a few hosts and they all offer me $400 in FP and RFB.

However I don’t like going through hosts as it makes me feel pressured to play. I’ve read about people on here who get several hundred in FP from offers and was wondering why I’m not getting the same.

There’s the issue. Takes longer for the MLife offers to catch up. Will probably improve next quarter. But in the interim contact VIP services and ask to be connected to a host.

Probably too soon. They are usually a quarter behind in offers vs. Play

Thanks all. Anyone know what I can expect once their system catches up?

I had similar play back in November and my offers have just updated in the last few days.

Prior to the update, my offers were again similar to yours but now I am getting comped rooms everywhere (some lovely rooms/suites actually) and my freeplay is now $425 with my resort credit being $450.

So I'd say 3 months from you play for the increased offers.

Do you know if you can use the freeplay multiple times if you book a different property? In the past they had language in their terms saying you could only use it once. However I noticed that language is now gone.

I had a similar experience like the op poster where I had over a $10k loss in one 4 night trip, but my immediate offers were pretty much the same compared to my recent play (coin in and Theo). It will take some time for the play to catch up with your offers.

I posted my experience where I was able to redeem FP using the same corporate offer at 2 different properties, and I also concur that the prior language restricting FP is no longer there. You can confirm with your host or just call vip services who when I spoke to, confirmed that they had changed the restrictions on FP.

hope this helps. Better luck next trip, I know how it feels

That's unfortunate. I was Mlife gold 2 years ago and my trip was $9k-$10k coin in. I was getting 3 nights comp offers at Bellagio and Aria with 200/ 200 FP & F&B. 4 nights everywhere else.

I completely understand about you preferring to book online. That's my preference as well.

This. Mlife is notorious for taking months for offers to reflect your prior play. November can even be toeing the line, much less December.

$25,000 coin in, if slots (I have no feel for VP) absolutely will get you way higher comps than what you're getting now. If is $75 on FP or RC, then it's absolutely going off old data versus your last run of 25k daily coin in.

Good luck, and I AM excited for you when your accurate offers kick in!

Your offers should definitely be superb, as I'm seeing '1br Skyview Penthouse' rooms @ Mandalay Bay fully comped & Nightingale/Hawk suites at Park MGM the same.

It's weird how they've worked it out. I used to see suites at all properties with my offers, but MGM/Vdara/Aria/Bellagio are all just rooms/view rooms now.

It took me years to start getting above decent offers with very similar play. I don’t understand the system at all.

I will say that I remember seeing time is one factor they consider.

Although my bet level isn't that high. I'll often play for >8 hours on the days I do play, so would they factor in possibility of 'tilt' into things?

LOL! I've got no idea how they work it out, and going by some of the offers here, their algorithm doesn't either :D

This Coronavirus travel ban will start hurting Vegas. Have several friends who got unexpected large MGM FP bumps in last few days, speculation is it's related to travel slowdown from Asia.

Could never quite understand the Asian gaming hype. 90 percent were playing on credit until the ban on using credit there.
