Anybody hear when we might see the list or when it might come out? Heading to Oz on Jan 10-11 and would love to have my MRB.
Last year I got an e-mail on January 20 that the book was printed and ready to ship - unfortunately going to miss your trip by a good margin if that's the case.
If anyone wants to do some pre-trading, let me know. What I mean by that is, I have SW drink coupons that expire 1-31-2024 that I would like to trade for downtown coupons when they become available.
Was just reading the January 2024 LVA newsletter and it indicates they hope to release the coupon list on or before January 5th.
Looks like the 2024 coupon list is posted. The page isn't fully updated yet but the terms on the coupons state 2024 and there are new ones and some deletions. A fun new one with high variance is a $500 free play bonus if you hit a royal at the plaza. The terms don't specify denom but maybe the face of the coupon will. If it's a straight $500 regardless of denom it holds more value the lower you play. Surely they will require at least quarters.
The terms that "Royal flush must be verified by bartender and slot personnel" is curious. Maybe bartop only?
That adds a nice little bump to the ev and they do run some good games. I'd imagine that it's similar to the 4OAK scratch card promo at MSS where you just press service when you hit a royal and they will come to verify.
Did they have an indication as to when it would be published when you ordered? We will be at The D on 1/19. They offer a delivery option to the hotel Concierge but hesitant to do that if the book won't be available by then.
There's some old faves and some new ones to try. Sure wish they had them printed - even available for pick up would be nice. Like the old days. As mentioned - we will be there 1-10 and 11. Used to come in after the new year and pick up at the press as early as the 3rd
For those not “hip” to the acronym lingo (like me)… MRB refers to the Members Reward Book distributed by the Las Vegas Advisor.
Some of the valuations are listed as zero for things that clearly have positive EV. This suggests that it is still a work in progress.
Surprising lcl if terms of that royal flush bonus. For instance it seems like you could hit a deuces wild wild royal and have it count. Also interesting to see Plaza and DTG try to get in on the 2-1 bj one. I guess they are looking for coupons that draw players out of hit and run more.
