Ack. Hope it gets better from here!

 

Congratulations on getting out of South Jersey! I am born, raised, and still here. Doubt my wife will let us leave with two young grad kids across town.. I hope your transition is a smooth one!

 

Thanks. So far everything has gone as smoothly as it could. I won't miss the $10,500 yr property taxes. We pay in Jersey.

 

And we aren't even really in the pyramid since on 4th floor and use regular elevator

 

That's a bummer. Garbage view too? Hope you're not near the nightclub!!!

Plan for today is to have the apartment tour at 9:30 then checkout Henderson. We will try to open a bank account and get the PO Box squared away.

That's a steal, I got a large coffee and bagel at the Luxor Starbucks, and it was $11. Granted, it was a more elaborate coffee, but still!

 

The Luxor Starbucks was too crowded, which worked out I guess since it Might of been more

 

So Jen can't stand this room. Mostly the odor. I checked and there is nothing available now but they said to call after 9 to see if a renovated room is available or we might just move to a tower room.

Hopefully you get to move quickly! I know we would be moving to be honest. M hated the pyramid.

But I have heard the renovated rooms are decent.

 

That's too bad about the smell, carpet cleaner is one of the worst smells to me! I have to admit I do like the furniture! The curtains are kind of strange. Hope you get moved to a better room!

 

Bummer, part of the novelty staying in the pyramid is riding the inclinator....BTW, best of luck on your move out West...

Yeah I would have to override your son on the room. Maybe he’s over the novelty of it after spending one night. Congrats on the move and looking forward to your insights.

So we toured the apartment complex and were able to tour our apartment. I'll post pics when we get the key next week.

We then checked out his high school which is huge. We will be going on Monday to register him.

We were able to get our post office box and then opened accounts at Wells Fargo. That took longer than it should of because there computers were acting up..

We are eating lunch at California pizza kitchen in town square since we were all starving.

When done, we will see about switching our room.
