In 2015 my dad dropped his wallet somewhere in the casino at Planet Hollywood. He noticed it was missing when he attempted to by me dinner at Panda Express in the mall. We went to lost & found and some honest soul turned it in saying they found it among the slots. The funny part was they handed him his wallet in a clear bag and it also had a tito that he didn't think was his. The lady said the wallet was turned it with the ticket. My wife left a brand new pair of Coach sunglasses at the bell desk at MGM several years ago. Somehow it was my fault when she noticed them missing at the airport.

Left an ipod in the pocket of a robe at Spa Mandalay years ago. Never found it, so I went shopping for a new one

    I have found...
a bundle of cash (over $400) on the floor at the MC many years ago.
a ladies bracelet from a famous designer
an IPAD sitting on a bench at the airport
    cheap sunglasses
    expensive sunglasses
cell phones and credit cards and many more.

once I left my phone at the pool at the Orleans, I realized it just before I got to my room ( a long haul)
the couple that was sitting next to me turned it into the life guards. :)

I have a part time retail job that I have worked for 25 years. it is a busy store. most of the time the lost cell phones do get turned in and claimed. 2-4 per week is not uncommon. purses get left in the parking lot. that one is pure panic.

I guess I'm lucky in this regard. My wife dropped her checkbook with all her credit cards and cash on floor in Ballys. Went to room and had a voice message from Security that it had been turned in with everything still in it and keep in mind, she didn't even know she had dropped it

I lost my Smartphone at TI. Went to Security and one of the Security people was standing there with it in his hand doing paperwork on it. Same story. Someone turned it in.

Both places told me this happens everyday. Most people are honest

We have found two phones the last couple of years and turned in to security, one time the owner was at the desk as we turned it in!!

The chargers are an ongoing problem so now I do a double check because twice dear dear husband has pulled the charging cord out BUT left the plug in the wall..
I left an expensive pair of black slippers behind; I had put them on the top shelf of the closet and I didn't miss them until a couple of weeks later, my bad. :grrr:
Now I park my shoes on the floor of the closet, and my dear dear husband double checks the closets while I check the electrical outlets, lol. Teamwork, which shows two half brains add up to almost a whole brain.:love:

"Lost" my players card multiple times. The last time I was gambling at MGM and staying at NYNY. I finished playing and headed straight to my room and emptied my pockets upon arrival... hey, wait, I'm missing something! My mlife card! Without thinking, I grabbed everything and headed back, and there it was, sitting beside the machine... unfortunately they didn't play thousands of dollars in the 20 minutes it took me to get back to it. They probably didn't even play a cent.... where's the love?

I lost a polo shirt in vegas. At the El Cortez. I think I probably put it on the bedsheets and since it was a crème color I probably forgot it in the sheets. Pissed me off because I got a good deal on the shirt. It was from Mauna Lani and last time I went back that same shirt cost over $100! I only paid $35 so it ticked me off that I would have to pay almost triple for the same shirt.

my friend lost a bathing suit wrap at Caesars, never found it, their lost and found could care less.

then she left a sweater in ballys, we went into the L&F and they had it right in front ready for her.

I havent lost anything that I can remember having to deal with L&F but I got really drunk and left a $200+ jacket on the back of a chair at the roulette table with my car and house keys in one pocket and my wallet with many Hundos in the other pocket zipped up...went back an hour later and it was still on the chair with everything inside, lol

when the Galaxy s7 came out, it was expensive,...im in masquerade new orleans on o new years and I get hit in the ankle with the phone and no one is looking for a phone. I picked it up and asked a few people and nothing...told my friend that works there that i wasnt giving it to L&F b/c someone will probally steal it..The phone was locked but i went home with and when someone called which was the owners boyfriend, I gave him my cell number to call in case and next day he came over and picked it up...I told him i know how much id be upset losing that expensive phone and everything on it that wasnt backed up....he gave me a case of beer for returning it

I brought my friend to vegas for his 1st time in 2016. he was filming a music video and borrowed my gopro with hero 3+ black with the extra screen. they put it down on the strip and forgot to pick it back up...someone got a nice gift that trip

I lost a cell phone. I think it fell out of my purse while playing a slot machine. No one ever turned it in.

I left a rather expensive watch under my lounge chair at the pool at Rio many years ago; realized as soon as we got to the room. Hubby went down and thankfully it was still there.

I lost a pair of diamond earrings at Caesars. I had put them on the bathroom counter so fear they got caught up in towels....never got them back.

On a stay at Venetian, we stayed far too long in the casino on departure day, then did a mad dash pack. I left a bathing suit and my absolute favourite cover up on the hook on the bathroom door. Probably would have gotten them back (because who would wear someone else's bathing suit).....but hubby left his Oakley sunglasses behind so nothing was turned in by Housekeeping :( I searched high and low to replace that cover up, never could.

I have found and turned in, most recently, a tito left in a machine at Wynn; a credit card I found in the hallway at Cosmo, a leather jacket left on the back of a chair at Encore and a cell phone left charging at Brittney machine at Rio.

On my very first trip to Vegas in 2012, I found an iPhone sitting on top of the one those magazine dispensers somewhere between Circus Circus and Fashion Show Mall. Whoever lost it had activated the Find My iPhone message and it said to call a number if found. I called the number and the guy had already left Vegas so I mailed it back to him once I returned home. He mailed me back $60 for the trouble, which was a nice gesture.

In August I had 2 rooms at Downtown Grand. My 19 and 21 year old stayed in one of the rooms and my daughter left her new bikini and cover up hanging on the bathroom door.
I left an envelope in the top drawer of the dresser in my room that had 10 vouchers I bought on Vegas4Locals for shows.
We checked out of the Grand at 11am and moved to the Mirage. I got to the Mirage and called the Grand maybe 45 minutes after we checked out and needed the show vouchers.
They were no help. They said nothing was found in either room. I called 2 hours later and was also told housekeeping would turn anything in that was left in the room.
I Ubered back to the Grand and went to both rooms and they had Do not disturb signs on so I knew they were both occupied.
I went to security and they just looked in the computer and said nothing was turned in from either room.
It really left a bad taste in my mouth for the staying at the Grand again. I could understand not finding and envelope or turning it in, but 2 rooms and 2 missing things not turned in??

My brother lost his consciousness at the Lady Luck bar one night. Someone (probably not him) later informed me that he enjoyed a complimentary wheelchair ride to his room. The next morning when we went down for coffee the bar manager took one look at him and said "Which one of my bartenders did this to you?"
