When you do the mimosa or champagne add on at Wicked Spoon, they will give you a "to go" cup and another drink when you leave ;)

    Thanks for following along!

    Isn't that the truth! LOL.

I'm hoping for that miracle handpay! Mom bladders suck! LOL.

We should introduce them if our paths ever cross. LOL. "Daisy meet Daisy".

I love that we can agree to disagree. ;)

Ha, ha...good point! These auto corrects are killing me.

I'm breaking out the hat tomorrow for our cabana day. Going to wear it proudly!

Ok @breanna61 we were offered to go cups with a full refill. Maybe they're trying to hustle us out since we've hit the two and a half hour mark. LOL.

I stuck with a mimosa and V switched to rosé.

Well hells yeah! I'm telling you peeps, there is some giant cosmic message trying to reach me today. (*Or else God knows I skipped teaching Sunday School to wee ones this morning.)

We hadn't gone in the Bellagio Conservatory yet, so we did after our extended brunch. The theme includes lots of lemons!!! Lemons are my favorite fruit! Oh lemons, how I love thee, let me count the ways. Truly, those who know me associate me with lemons. It's a sign!

So on our Disney Cruise in April my white waffle weave robe (from Target) disappeared. I think it blended in with the bedsheets and the almighty Mouse took it away forever.

It was my summer robe, and I haven't replaced it yet. I saw this cute robe just now in the Bellagio gift shop. I told V, if it's less than $75 I'm getting it! Big me tripling my Target robe buy in.

Well, remember that scene in "Deuce Bigalow" where he orders the cranberry vodka and then gets the bill and spits it back and asks for just a cranberry juice? F'ing robe is $180.00. WTF? My whole wardrobe on this trip doesn't equal that. LOL.

I continue to piece together the messages from the Cosmos. Passed by the Petrossian Bar and the Terminator-esque pianist was playing "Through the Eyes of Love". "Ice Castles" anyone?

It's like my childhood movie repertoire is being played before my eyes (ears) today.

Going to pick up our art gallery tickets for later. V is going back to the room to work, and I'm going to grind on the slots .30 cents at a time. LOL.

Okay, I'm so excited to be on vacation without my kiddos....but I miss them so much! Anyone else get those mixed feelings when you're away from your offspring?

So here’s my robe story. I have stayed at the B for years, but usually pay for a suite upgrade (I know it’s stupid when I could have a zero bill in a standard room, but it’s cheaper per night than the Hampton Inn near me). The robes in the suites weigh like 50 lbs and are really hot. Never even used them in the room. On my trip this April I took a standard room as I have stayed in every suite I wanted to try and they had a nice king high center fountain view. Also, I had to pay resort fees for the first time. But I digress. I fell in love with the waffle robe in the regular rooms. Not cheap, but I figured I planned to try other hotels for a while so why not get some swag. Around $67 after Mlife gold discount. I have not regretted that purchase. It’s oversized (I roll up the sleeves) super comfy, not heavy and seems it will last a long time. The $180 is outrageous but check out the regular waffle!

We have America Home Shield for which we pay a monthly fee. The contract will pay 100% for all appliance/AC/water heater/etc replacements, and service calls are $75.....we have received our money's worth out of this contract. No crazy unexpected bills. Good luck, and WIN...love your trip report.

Low rolling with The Rolling Stones!
Hit a bonus to put me a wee bit ahead.

    IMG_20180701_135540228.jpg

Funny story about The Stones. Back in 2003 I insisted that V and I see The Stones when they were in Houston. V is a rocket scientist... seriously he is an aerospace engineer. In '03, the Columbia Shuttle Mission was in space. Well, V and colleagues would do 24 hour rotations during shuttle missions. V was scheduled the night of the concert, so he had a friend switch with him for the all night shift.

We party on with Mick and company (this is pre-kids). Make it back to our side of Houston about 3am (Houston is big people! It was like a 40 mile mile drive to where the concert was. Pre-Uber days and no DUI, so I'm not complaining.)

About 7am we get a call....on our landline, tee hee. It's for V, so I groggily hand him the phone. A co-worker says, "We lost them." I'll never forget hearing those words in my hungover post-Stones state. The Space Shuttle Columbia had blown up upon re-entry. A sad day for all, but most definitely for those tied to the now defunct shuttle program. I will always carry a bit of guilt that V wasn't present on the final shift of that mission. Just a weird connection that we associate with the most awesome Rolling Stones.

We actually carried a similar home warranty the first year we bought our home. We didn't end up renewing after I read the fine print. We have a 75 gallon water heater and the warranty would only cover a 40 gallon. That being said, I buy insurance and warranties on everything because I have the worst luck... apparently with gambling too! Thankfully, I was able to replace my phone before this trip because of the warranty.

    Thanks for reading!

So tipping never hurts. We're pretty decent tippers...unless somebody is just outright mean or sucks, we usually try to tip above and beyond.

I tip $5/day to housekeeping. I tip the cocktail waitresses $5/drink and $2/water. During my gambling session earlier I ordered some waters and two White Russians. The same CW brought me all drinks and gave me waters with my White Russians too. I was eventually bumped to Fiji from MLife water because you know the molecular makeup of H2O varies from brand to brand. Ha! :goofy:

Had to come back to the room to drop off the extra waters. Found a lot of extra goodies from Housekeeping we didn't have yesterday. Tipping is good!

Sipping the last of my White Russian and drinking some Pedialyte. V was showering and shaving when I got in. He's been working while I gambled.

We're going to head to the art exhibit soon.

IMG_20180701_141026338.jpg Drank two waters on the casino floor. Couldn't keep up with the cocktail waitress!

More goodies. Time to get my loofah on!

    Good karma all!

So tomorrow after our cabana time, we had planned to go to Harvest for happy hour. We've been before and really enjoyed it.

Guess not this time. Glad we didn't get the BOGO MyVegas reward.

Buffalo is my favorite! I've actually witnessed twice people win hand pays on a 60 cent bet. Hope one finds you on this trip!
