"Doesn't matter" meaning "daily play at other CET properties is pooled into a global ADT for my CET account"?

Odd, I stay at CP and have had trips where I played mostly elsewhere and never had any issues getting my dinners backend comp'd off.

Is there a way of having someone at mLife review the amount in backend comps you were given? I feel like I was cut short quite a bit in backend comps.. Had almost 2X more in coin-in compared to a previous trip but was given less in backend comps.

No, the person who gives you the comps is the one doing the reviewing. and 2 x coin in may or may not be significant, depending on game played, time on device, and other factors including the initial room comp. Would need to know what you played, what your coin in was, what type of room you stayed in and for how long before determining what (ballpark) should have been left for a comp.

If you walked in and talked to a host on your next trip before you start gambling and asked, they might be able to walk you through it.

I doubt you can find someone in a more regular customer service position who could or would overturn the original ref's call.

Hmm yeah it was weird too as she said she couldn't access my folio so asked how much was room charges was for. She then said "I will do it up to $XXX and call it in". Every other time I called, they would process the backend comps on the spot themselves so it was a different process too.

I mean, the math should be pretty straightforward for the person doing the comping. Mainly it's that there's several variables involved; the big casinos' systems know the exact values of each and either do the full calc or show the host a number that's one step away from a final calc. The player usually doesn't know all the variables and values unless a host shares them, so you're left estimating and it can be easy to be substantially off.

That was interesting.. Noticed I was charged the full amount on my folio to my card today without the backend comps being applied. So, I called Casino Marketing and they told me they don't see any notes about the amount I was told I would get. So, they calculated the amount and told me it would be -$200 less than what I was originally told. After I questioned the numbers, they transferred me to a host at Aria and the host honored the amount I was originally told.\

Makes me wonder who I spoke to the day I checked out and why everyone calculated different numbers.

Backend comp is called "discretionary comp" for a reason, a good reason.
