I'm going to hate myself at 3 AM when the alarm goes off!!

For my April trip I'm leaving out of BWI instead of my usual PHL. It's a 8:50 am flight and about a 2 & a half hour drive. But I'll have to leave extra early to avoid rush hour traffic. So I'll probably leave around 3:30 am. No big deal for me as I'm usually up at that time to go to work, some mornings even earlier. The savings are worth the extra driving plus the only nonstops on Spirit out of PHL don't get into Vegas until almost midnight. Once you've flown on Spirit in the big front seat it's hard to back to regular seats.

 

I'd love to visit Australia. Don't know if I can handle to long flight though. Maybe someday. Dont they have casinos in Sydney?

 

I've been told many places we visit have casinos.

That's a big ask from the East Coast, certainly. Maybe do some time on the West Coast or Hawai'i to break it up?

That's why we go to Hawai'i so often, and our eastern friends ask why we don't do the Carib instead, and then I ask them why not Hawai'i for them? lol

You might want to consider an overnight stay at one of the many BWI hotels. Last year we had to travel to Memphis for a wedding and fares were $200 higher out of PHL. Stayed at the Candlewood Suites, parked and took the shuttle for the early flight, I think it was about $100 or so.

I thought about it, but I'm leaving on a Tuesday morning and will probably work on Monday. So I'll just get up early. Most mornings I'm up at 3:30 am. So I'll have to get up around an hour earlier. I can always sleep on the plane. But once that touches down screw sleep lol.
