We will have a pretty significant Resort credit to use up and we're looking to splurge on one big steak night. We've eaten at Craftsteak and loved it. We've also been to Tender and thought it was good as well. Is there any other Steakhouse that is a must go to? Price is not an issue. I read reviews on quite a few of them but honestly I trust the opinions on this board more

Prime (Bellagio) and Craft have been my favorites.

I had a pretty terrible meal at Jean Georges (Aria). But I'm not sure I've read anything but good reviews so I'm tempted to give it a second chance next week.

My steak there was good, not great. Nice ambiance.

For my money though of all the MGM steakhouses I've been to it's Gallagher's at NYNY. Doesn't get much pub but it's a great old-school steakhouse.

Craftsteak, Prime, and Stripsteak( Mandalay Bay) are the top 3 for us.

Prime or Stripsteak. Craftsteak was awful.

Bardot Brasserie in Aria is another one I recommend. It is a French Steakhouse but excellent.

    Also has an amazing brunch.

If you have significant RCs to use, I'd book Prime at Bellagio (request fountain seating) in a heartbeat.

Gallagher's in NYNY. We have walked right by the place for years and finally decided to try it a few trips ago. NY strip was absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back again next week!

You won't go wrong with any of them. Jean Georges @ Aria is my favorite. Had multiple great experiences at both Prime and Craftsteak. I've eaten at those 3 steakhouses 3-4 times a piece.
I think when people have horrible experiences at one of those it just has to be a freak incident I've had exceptional service and food at all 3 locations each and every time I've eaten there, they are all 3 very very similar. My choice JG simply because of menu options.

Based on the mlife steakhouses I've been to, I'd rate them like this...

    PRIME
    JG
    CRAFTSTEAK
    GALLHAGERS
    BRAND

Not going to bother with the places in Luxor/Excal. Never been to Stripsteak, CP at 4S yet, and I'm going to Heritage Steak later this month.

Even though there are still a couple more on my mlife/mgm steakhouse tour, I already know you can;t beat Prime! This place is a notch above all the others in terms of food, service and the location/atmosphere. Maybe stick with Craftsteak if youre with all your buddies. If you want to keep it a little more quiet/romantic, Prime is the place.

Ate at Craftsteak in December and first meal in Vegas that I regretted. Cost was 360 and wouldn't have paid more than 100 for that meal.

I had the same experience last year. It was the worst high end steak house meal I have ever had.

My favorite is Michael Mina's steak house at MB - Strip Steak.

Well, I gave JG a second chance last night and I'm so glad I did. It was a complete 180 from last time. Everything was fantastic (crispy Sushi, ribeye, Brussels sprouts and apple pie). One of the better meals I've had at a LV steakhouse.
