Competitive Art was once part of the Olympic events.

Between 1912 and 1948, the Olympic Games awarded medals in sculpture, music, painting, and architecture.
After the Olympics were skipped due to the war years, it returned in 1948 but after a debate, the competitions were scrapped.

“John Copley of Britain won one of the final medals awarded, a silver in 1948 for his engraving, Polo Players,” according to Smithsonianmag.com. “He was 73 years old at the time, and would be the oldest medalist in Olympic history if his victory still counted.”

The Bene Israel are a community of ethnic Jews, historically residing in India for many generations. In traditional Indian society, they made up the Shanivar Teli (oil presser) caste. Jewish scholars Maimonides and David Rahabi wrote of this isolated community in the 1100s and 1400s respectively, but it was not until the 19th. century that they were introduced to normative Judaism. Their migration to India remains uncertain but some believe that the Bene Israel are bona fide descendents of one of the Ten Lost Tribes.

The word "gorilla" comes from the history of Hanno the Navigator, ( c. 500 BC) a Carthaginian explorer on an expedition on the west African coast to the area that later became Sierra Leone. ...

The name was derived from Ancient Greek Γόριλλαι (gorillai), meaning 'tribe of hairy women'
