Ellis Island Hospitality Suite at NYNY - What is it?

I've noticed this to the right of the NYNY hotel entrance and also one on the Las Vegas Bvld side.
There's an alcove and door with "Ellis Island Hospitality Suite". There's a combination keypad/card reader on the doors.

Anyone know what these are?

I have no solid information but sure looks like a meeting room.

 

Cvent lists it as a 1900sf meeting space with a max cap of 40
