I'm thinking about the cannery in December. Any ideas on how the rooms are?

They are very nice. I stayed there last year and would stay again.

I've stayed there a couple of times. Rooms are good. Standard rooms have a mini fridge, which is nice. The room and vanity area are divided by a half wall that holds the ice bucket, much nicer than on the vanity or worse yet, on the counter in the bathroom! No coffeemaker, but I was given a coup for one cup per day. The coffee stand is right next to the elevator, which is convenient. Never tried the buffet, but the coffee shop is decent for breakfast. The steakhouse is good and the deli by the sportsbook has good salads and sandwiches. I plan on staying there again and wouldn't hesitate recommending it.

    Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. I enjoyed gambling there and liked the wide open feeling of the casino. I don't really have interest in the strip anymore and they sent me 2 nights from when I played there in March. I like the idea of having the fridge, a nice change from places I've stayed downtown. I always enjoy staying at new hotels when I go to Vegas and this should be a good one to knock off the list.

Hand the clerk a $20 and you will likely be upgraded to a large suite.

I agree the rooms are very nice. floor to ceiling windows. gamble and they will keep sending 2 free nights,
we will see what changes Boyds will make soon. buffet is definitely not worth it, go across the street to
Longhorn's café or if wanting buffet go to Sams Town
