    My Trip Report

Here is a quick recap of my trip as I fly home.
Flew out of MKE nonstop on southwest, no problems there. Took a Lyft to the Cromwell, didn’t have to wait long for it. Checked in and then went down to the casino floor and hit this machine but then the slot gods said no more and got nothing much from them afterwards.

Overall never felt unsafe but I only went from PH to harrah’s area, lot of “showgirls” around the outside there to take a pic with . Some quick notes about the Cromwell, good drink service, nice people working there. The eatwell shop there has a limited menu and I was disappointed with an order from there. Hotel room had a broken deadbolt and random stuff like an outlet was missing a wall plate. I don’t think that little shop in the Cromwell is open at the moment.

Another random note from today. I just got in the elevator waiting to go down from my room. A 25ish year old lady stops the door from closing and asks if her and her two friends can come in, all without masks. They waited for the next one, at least she asked first.

@greekjim better an early big hit, than no hit at all. Where did you eat given the limited food options in the Cromwell?

Toss in a couple of stops at Pinup Pizza and a stop at Gordon’s Burgr and sounds like where I eat most trips. Nice hit on Bier and thanks for posting.

I see you had the lobster and chips. The battered lobster was a bit underwhelming when I went a week ago so will be sticking to the fish n chips. Not enough meat. The battered shrimp however was good! Thanks for sharing some recaps jim!

100% agree. With the lobster, I was happy to find any meat under the breading after picking at it with a fork for a bit. Yea, the shrimp clearly was the winner for me in that combo too.

Also to add, I don’t remember seeing any of those blue disposable face masks and hand sanitizer left out for the guest in the hotel room. I noticed all mini bar stuff gone and an ice bucket and plastic bag on the dresser but no masks.
