I have a room reserved this evening at Caesars Palace for two nights.
I got an email this morning from caesars to do online check-in.
Are there any advantages to doing this? If I can do this online check-in and then just pick up my keys and be on my way I think it's worth it.

    Thanks for your help.

    Just found my answer online.

You get a email or text when your room is ready and then you can pick up your keys at the "keys and mail" desk at the right side of the check-in area.

Ten years ago (or so) the Flamingo had a kiosk that looked like an ATM in their registration area that I used to check into my room instead of waiting in line. It took less time, but I got a fourth floor room that faced the Imperial Palace parking garage.

So it may save time, but not having the face-to-face contact may give you the worst room available. It might not, but that's up to you.

I'd love to hear how this goes - I wonder if you can then give yourself the $20 trick money? HA!
