You gotta wonder what the angle is on this strategy. Under 4 minutes does feed into attention span levels for most Americans though.

They posted those learn to play 4 minute videos 2 years ago - guess they are just sending out reminders to everyone that they still exist.

It's in their interest to have players who think they are educated on a game, when they obviously can't be fully informed in 4 minutes. Give players enough knowledge to be dangerous (to themselves).

The blackjack video is on a 6:5 Double on 10/11 only with no double after split. The lesson should be run as far away from this abomination of a blackjack game as quickly as possible. House edge is like 2.5% on that game.

We have been on two night stays at Harrah's New Orleans and Hard Rock Biloxi within the last 10 days. I can't remember which, but one of them had video gaming primers on the first channel that popped up when you turned on the TV. (resort channel) It covered blackjack, roulette, craps and pai-gow. It sure seemed like it was slanted towards novices and teaching them to play in a manner beneficial to the house. The craps teaching video made the field bet sound like the greatest thing ever invented. (which it very certainly is not). I wondered how many more field bets their dice tables were getting as a result of rookies watching that video. Beware of free advice coming from the people trying to win your money from you.
