I think I got an email on that one, but it wasn't labeled "Shamrock Mania." But I didn't save the email. I have Casino Play Mania offer listed on the website for those dates. It's one of those "play up" offers where you get a minimum of $X freeplay and then more freeplay as you reach different TC targets. The TC targets vary depending on your play level. You have to book a room to get it. "Super Bonus" is one where you get a larger-than-your-normal-offer-amount of freeplay for earning 25 TCs. Also a must-book-hotel offer.
Did anyone else (@EzE perhaps) notice a May offer that is identical to March and April except for one tiny detail: my tier credit requirements have DOUBLED, effectively slashing the freeplay amounts by 50%. I’d love to believe this is a typo, but something tells me it’s more likely a “shift in marketing.”
I'm not seeing any change between offer requirements in May vs March/April. Are you sure your comparing the same offers?
Yes, the only difference is in the names - “Frenzy”, “Mania”, and “Mayhem”. If yours are unchanged then I really hope mine is just a typo! I’ll monitor upcoming emails and eventually my May mailer. I’ve been looking forward to going in and taking advantage of that 1.4% return in freeplay but when I saw it showing as .7%, with a minimum play amount of 10,000 TC, my heart sank
If it isn't a typo for you then they need to rethink things ALOT. These offers are already stretches for most and the third hurdle is easily more than double your normal play rates from what I've seen.
Yours is even more reassuring in that your hurdles are between my old and “new” levels, but your freeplay is right in line with where I’ve always seen it. Thanks for the response and data!
Note that these types of offers get worse as you level up in terms of return %. From what I've seen the second hurdle is around what you'd make in 4 days of play on average (based your your ADT) and the 3rd is unlikely unless you increase your play levels as I think the longest I've seen for one of these is 6 days and its gotten worse since they started making them 2 shorter ones instead of 1 longer one. Doesn't really make sense other than the over the weekend one for lower levels is shorter on number of nights.
