    Continuing from yesterday…..

After a really shitty run on bubble craps at Flamingo, I went to cash out my voucher of $54.20. As some have reported, the ticket machines aren’t giving change.

But the receipt doesn’t really tell you you can pickup your change at the cage except for very subtle small print mixed in with other stuff. Just says cash requested $54.20 cash dispenses $54.00

I noticed like 8 receipts on top of the machine….so I went and cashed them all for $2.81. Homeless are missing a huge opportunity here!

Wade split from the group in Flamingo to hang with a coaching buddy from Texas. Sleve, GJ, and myself walked back to Bally’s to meet Wendell (took a 30 minute cat nap) and Lengthy Mike who had been playing poker tournaments all morning/day. Waldo headed downtown to see the free Chevelle concert on Fremont.

We walked on the CET side of strip and headed towards OYO for coupons and chip collection. Man it was such a hot day. That walk took it out of me big time. By the time we got to OYO I was just a swampy mess.

OYO has the worst cashier/players club situation in town. It took my solid 45 minutes to do my coupons. I got so frustrated in there. Although I did come out ahead $30. After the hour we spent in there, the sun was starting to go down and we hadn’t eaten dinner yet. We took a cab from Tropicana to Ellis Island for dinner. Wendell walked back to Bally’s and packed his shit to head for the airport. Midnight flight home.

Bye Wendell! Dude had a monumental trip.

Sleve and LM had free rack of ribs, while GJ and I had the steak special. Had salad with Italian dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and medium cooked steak, although it felt more like medium-well to well-done. I ain’t too picky, plus with coupons it was $6.49 TOTAL for the two of us.

After dinner we walked back to Bally’s to call it a night. It was about 10:30pm when I was falling asleep updating the trip report. Woke up around 7:30 this morning and still feel worn out. But I don’t feel hungover at all…..y’all know what that means!!! Full speed ahead today!!

Wade took a trip with his pal to Resorts World. Here’s some pics.

OH!!! Also forgot to mention Gamblin’ James hit this bad boy on his free play!

Waldo sent me a wild ass video of a mosh pit right next to him. Sounds like Wade had a great time last night. Don’t have any other details other than what he seemingly drunkenly posted to the board last night. Except while doing this update I received this text from Wade.

Everybody else flew home this morning so it’s just Wade, Waldo, and Earl for the next two days. I’m gonna make this one count. About to get breakfast at Ellis Island then hop on the Deuce to downtown.

Royal flush will be hit at approximately 4:45pm today. Stay tuned VMB

That was almost me once at the Ballys sports book when I tried to stay up from 5 am until the book opened so I could get my MM bets in before I went to bed. Almost the exact same spot. Great TR. Hope the last few days are great too.

OMG is Batista's still in business? Wow, we used to eat there every trip during the 1980's.

My wife’s loud drunk Italian family ate there in 2016. About 12 of us. Think it was like $25 three course meal per person with all you can drink red wine. Several pitchers of wine later they asked us to leave if they gave everyone a big styrofoam to go cup of wine. Solid food but nothing spectacular. Fun experience.

I absolutely love your reports and this one is no exception. Not sure if you guys are older or younger than me, but these trips remind me a lot of the first few times I went with friends after turning 21. Around-the-clock low-rolling boozefest. You're inspiring me to try to rustle up the old crew again. Good luck the rest of the way!

Coming from Florida back when there was no casino gambling in Florida and having never been in a casino until my first Las Vegas trip in 1986 I was amazed to see bartop VP in a restaurant. Of course I always had to play before we sat down to eat. Like you said, decent food and free wine at a reasonable price. Nothing to write home about but for a 26 year old kid it was quite the experience.

I’ve always thought one of the unique things about Vegas is that no matter what casino bathroom I choose to play craps in, there is a sensational symphony of intricate sounds.
