Anybody know if the Borgata is going to be switching to the regular MLife webpage? I haven't had my offers updated in a really long time. Nothing listed so far for January and February and those months are coming up quickly.

I was told they want to keep everything separate by the mlife desk in Park MGM... it's why my mlife card for the borgata doesnt even work in Vegas

They must be migrating the Borgata computer system to link up with the real MLife. I checked the MLife website and it shows my reservation for the Borgata, but they aren't set up to show offers yet. Meanwhile, I have no offers on the Borgata's fake MLife website except for the comp room three nights any days of the week. I know they were very pleased with my play back in November, so there has to be something happening behind the scenes. It's the only explanation I can think of.

Still no offers from the Borgata other than comp room and we are nearly halfway through January. I guess they just didn't want thousands of dollars from me this month. Well, okay. I'll see if things improve by March when we are going for Piff the Magic Dragon, but if not then we'll switch our business to the Hard Rock. I don't really understand the casino business. I guess if you spend thousands of dollars in a casino, they don't like it?

Are you able to book Comp rooms via the website? I have been unable to do so for months now...

The only thing I can get are comp rooms from the Borgata website. There are no other offers of any kind. I also just checked MLife's website and I have no offers there either. This is after I spent $4000 on gambling on my last trip. It's insane.

If you lost $4000 with the snap of a finger -- let's say playing really high denom slots -- you might not have accrued enough points to make your theoretical go high. Unfortunately, losses is only one part of the story. There's average bet size and duration of play too. But, I'd check nonetheless. I hear it takes months to register a recent trip

No Borgata offers come through MLife.
They have not even integrated the point earning, tier credits, express comps etc.
You get a separate card that says MLife but is specific to Borgata.
I get offers on the Borgata website for Rooms, match play, club tickets etc.
Sometimes it takes more than one trip.

Just logged into mLife at the Borgata site - showing room comp and Fly Borgata offer.
Very excited - was hoping to try out Borgata and getting to AC is such a pain.
Will call tomorrow to see the details.

The weird thing is that suddenly I'm getting offers for comp room and $225 freeplay for MGM Springfield when that is an extra hour and a half drive over the Borgata from where I live. I'm also getting offers for Gold Strike Tunica and MGM National Harbor in Baltimore. Is MGM trying to move me to another property?

I earned about 22000 tier credits which at the Borgata is considerably more play than Vegas. I played around 5 hours a day at $2-3 a spin and total loss for the trip was $4000.

    Basically, yes.
MGM Springfield is slowly failing for a shiny new casino.

Revenue has been trending downward since the grand opening.

Wow, I just read the article you linked and their revenues at MGM Springfield are abyssmal. Especially for a brand new casino. The entire nation is pretty much oversaturated with casinos right now and the competition is very strong for gamblers' dollars. They need to do more to attract and maintain customers -- and no, that doesn't mean laying off employees and cutting back on shows.
