Actually I think that is probably closer to the truth, lol. We all like to kid ourselves! Lost 25% due to taking a lump sum and not an annuity and 20% to my friend. Still good though. Just wondering if maybe lightning does strike twice.

 

I hit a Blazing Seven progressive for over $1400 at the Fremont last year. 4 days later I hit another Blazing Seven for over $1500 at the Silver Legacy Reno.
That night I hit a quarter Blazing Seven across the street at Harrah's for a little under $500.
Although I dropped around $2000 chasing them I still ended up almost $1500 up for the trip.

 

Congrats!! Hope I'm half as lucky on my next trip.

I am surprised they require an annuity for winnings at this level. I can see that for million dollar prizes but for "hundred thousand dollar" ones? What duration of annuity did they require to receive the whole amount? It just seems that a 25% penalty is a lot for lump sum on this one.

A couple of trips ago I was sitting playing Buffalo Stampede, hit the spin button for $1.50 bet. Low and behold I won a whole $2.10 then the craziest thing happened, a large buffalo was running right at me , paid me over $700. Not till I got home and read about the game did I know that the Stampede version will pay out the progressives totally random at the bank of machines you are playing. Best hit ever!

 

Had my all time best Vegas slot win @ Wynn a few weeks ago for 20k! This came a couple of pulls after a $625 minimum spin on $25 WOF

I just won $250 on the WOF last week. Sadly after two trips to Vegas that's my biggest win. I'll take it because I put my last $40 into the machine right before check out and I had a few hits and cashed out at $354. Still a losing trip but winning that before I head to the airport is a win to me.

My biggest slot machine win was on my last trip. I was playing Twight Zone at MSS when all of a sudden the screen lit up with some random IGT Powerbucks bonus game that I had never seen before. I had to pick squares and if there was a lightening bolt behind it, you got money. The more lightening bolts you find, the more money you get. Anyway, I ended up winning $625. My sister was so mad after she got this random bonus as well but she only won about $8 lol.

 

Last years trip to Aria. I hit a Progressive quarter video poker one day, and then hit another quarter progressive. This turned out to be one of our best gambling trips ever.

$3,575.00 on Willie Wonka at Cherokee betting max with Oompa Lompa bonus with 10X multiplier.

 

$126,724.00 on Bally Cash Wheel on 9/16/2015. It's a $1 machine, max bet is 5 lines, hit on the 10th spin. The progressive on this machine has been building up for over 2.5 years. My wife and I went out to a nice dinner, and decided at the last minute to head down to the racino afterwards.
