Can you only get free drinks form yourself, or can you get them for other people with you? Can you get get soft drinks at any of the retail stores?
I think there has only been one instance they were out of them when I was there and I have been there pretty often. But your experience may differ.
Can get soft drinks at Giada's Pronto at Caesar's and also at JJ's Boulangerie at Paris. Might be able to get them at Eatwell at Cromwell, but can't guarantee that like I can the first two listed. Haven't tried elsewhere, but would assume the answer at gift shops would be no. (those are all bottles BTW)
I don't drink nearly as much as my friends do, so if we are getting close to midnight I will rally the crew and have them order 4 drinks on me. If we eat on Caesars property I will attempt to use my tickets on nice cocktails, but if we don't I'm usually left holding all 4 at the end of the night. Nobody has ever said a word to me about it. I don't think the bartenders get paid enough to care one way or another, especially if you're holding what is clearly tip money.
Cafe belle madeleine at Paris still has the bottle wine and large waters, it’s just that they are not always in stock.
Agree with iceicecool - I got big bottles of water for my room at Cafe Belle' last trip. They don't always have them, but if they do, you can use the drink feature to get them.
Yes - 1st 1/2 no large waters, but later on had them. No bottles of wine at all during my stay. Of course we were leading up to a holiday, during a TC multiplier & also somewhat in late March madness - so maybe they decided to hide the wine LOL!!
Are there any Vegas locals who redeem the 4 free drinks almost every day? Do they get any pushback for doing that? If not, it could be a potentially $35k per year comp.
I don't do it personally, but there are a ton that do. Back when it was vouchers, people used to go to the Rio sportsbook deli right before midnight, with a stack of 20-30, print out another 20-30 with all the cards they had, and get right back in line. There's no push back. Staff don't care too much outside of how time consuming CET made it for them to run all of the redemptions. I've done it before at LINQ or Harrah's, getting two days back to back, before heading home. Because of how easy it was to get to Rio, I'm assuming it was much more common. It is a hassle to get to other Caesars properties.
The 1L Fiji Water can be bought for $21 a case (12) from BevMo (I'm sure CET does much better than this), and a $100 bottle of spirits is $6 a 1.5oz pour. Anyone assigning a cost of this benefit to CET of greater than $25/day/player is an idiot... it's probably closer to $7. And if CET is willing to write off the goodwill of a player for $7 a day, they get what they deserve. I also finding it specious that they could operate a LL at $7/day/player.
Exactly. Now it MAY be worth 100 dollars a day to someone who comes in once a year for the weekend and actually pays bar prices on the strip. But it's not worth 100 a day to locals who come in every day to load their car up with drinks that would never pay the bar prices.
Each day of the week, there are give-aways for locals. Using May as an example as they are different every month; Mon=progressive RC bonus from 3x this week to 12x in week four Tue= kiosk game after 25 TC to win FP Wed= One Hell's kitchen pan each week with 25 TC Thur= kiosk game for FP after 25TC Fri=usually a bottle of liquor/wine for 25 TP and another upgraded bottle at 100 TP. At the beginning each both there is also an upgraded bottle. today that was Maclallan for 1,000 TP earned. Last month that was Patron Platinum for 1,500. That Maclallan retails for $70-$80. The bartenders don't mind at all if you get all four drinks (or shots) at once and that process usually includes conversation about the process...never have encountered any pushback...we probably use this perk about twice per week. (just be sure to tip). As an example, since Cosmo took Woodford off the floor, I can get four shots at PH, pour in a Figi water bottle and avoid drinking the cheap stuff now coming out of the gun thanks to MGM. (just order a sprite or a glass if desired...not suggesting drinking out of the bottle!!!) We stayed at Caesar's last night and ordered from the specialty menu at the Alto bar...no charges and very good drinks and variety to choose from. You can also take those over to the nearby sports book. BTW, some of the bartenders expect this perk to go away soon for Diamond players or be cut back severely.
I wonder why Interlude Casino Lounge at Cromwell is not listed? I've gotten many drinks there using Diamond Plus over the last year, on a few trips. The last one being last month. Have they removed this bar/lounge from the list of places where you can redeem your free drinks? Any idea when this list is from? Thanks. ✌
