Was at Ballys as well. Did not hit any quads and played a fair amount of VP. Did get a nice hit on Buffalo Diamond for 800. Some interesting characters around Ballys this trip. Enjoyed BLT as ususal, but thought my steak was a bit underseasoned this time.

So looks like last update was 18 hours ago so here goes. We all slept until about 7am which was a record for the twins on a trip. Normally up by 5. We got them ready and I went down to play for the TV. I tried Bally then Paris and then Cromwell but nothing was really working. Got a text that they were getting hungry so back to the room and we went to Burger Brasserie. It was still breakfast time so couldn’t get a burger. After we got the twins bathed and down for naps. I was back down to chase my TCs.

We had decided to line up an Artsy Nanny so my dear wife could have a little adult time. I picked up Japanese food from the place that used to be called Sekushi. It was really good and I would recommend both of those places.

Nanny arrived at 6 so off we went to play. She wanted a go at the Megabucks machine I have been playing. I kid you not she hit 700 something on one of the first few spins. After that she was hooked for an hour or so

We slotted around and ended up at the upper level of the Lobby bar because P.O. was working there. We had a great time and even asked the nanny to stay longer.

Way too much Ceroc Peach was consumed but we had a lot of fun.

I normally order the ribeye but decided to try the filet instead. I asked for well done which on the filet was very dry. My wife and our friend were very happy with their wagu filets

Sandsfan dropped the ball. Lady to pick up car seat rentals had us down for our flight time instead on arrival time. She even left a voicemail to confirm which I didn’t see. So we are waiting for her instead of at the bar. Hope there is still time for the pre flight drink

Another one done. Great trip except the loss. Great room, housekeeping (Deloris), bartenders (too many to name), meals, Hoover Dam, feeding carps at lake Mead, Carlitos Burritos, wife’s Massage and visiting local friends. Used $1200 airfare, $500 room folio, $500 celebration dinners and got the TV.

Nice report and congrats on getting the TV. It looks like a nice set, but I do need to ask, and I don't mean no disrespect. You being a 7 Star player with Caesars
You have a 13 year old TV with connecting issues? Brother, you're a 7 Star player. What does a nice TV cost these days? I got a 75" Sony 4K last year for $2500.00 from PC Richards, with zero percent interest for 12 months. Thank goodness you got one from Caesars now, but why suffer with an old set? Sorry, I mean no disrespect, but I just had to ask, since I'm sure that to become a 7 Star member, you need to gamble a considerable amount of money. I visit Vegas 5 times a year, and can barely hit Diamond.

Lol, you are absolutely right. Outside Vegas I’m a cheap *** when it comes to getting stuff for myself. Getting stuff for family or doing stuff with family is easier for me to justify .

We hardly turn the TV on now that we have the twins (too busy) so there has been no interest from the family and I can’t justify it in my mind for an occasional movie. Every time we pass the TVs at Costco and I drool my wife says when are you going to get a new one.

To be honest as long as the other one still worked I probably wouldn’t have got one. I tend to get as much life out of TVs, appliances, furniture, cars, etc as I can rather than replace as new models or features come out.

I could have taken the $3000 free play but would probably not have won with it and this way I got something tangible from the trip, right?

Actually it was a lot of fun and we used the 7* airfare, celebration dinner, room credit as well as back end comps. Throw in the TV and all the fun and it wasn’t really a loss.

    Thanks for following along

Hey man, thanks for responding. I can understand that. Me, on the other hand, I would rather buy something nice for myself that I will enjoy every single day, than giving so much money away to these money hungry corporate casinos. Don't get me wrong, I love to go to Vegas, but I just give them just enough so that I can get my room comps and waived resort fees. But for sure,I know plenty of folks who would rather feed the casinos, getting their status, limo rides, suites, etc., rather than treating themselves to something nice. This is why I love this forum. You get to read all the different perspectives of how people do Vegas, from the low to high rollers.
