    Years ago, I was in Vegas for the Consumer Electronics show, not knowing it was the same weekend as AVN. Hell, I literally didn't know what AVN was or that it even existed. My ex and I had dinner at Emeril's Delmonico there in the Venetian and as luck would have it, the AVN awards were also being held in the Venetian convention center.

    O...M....G.......We step out of the restaurant and there's a purple carpet with velvet ropes rolling several hundred yards down to the awards ceremony. All of the "stars" were arriving for the show and what a show it was! :haha: The ladies were wearing all manner of costumes, some of them wore next to nothing, some of them were dominatrix, the sheer volume of silicone was incredible. But it wasn't just the gals, the dudes were dressed all pimped out in every color of the rainbow. It was a sight to behold. I'd put it in my Top 3 people watching events ever.

    I've been in town for that weekend a couple times, and it's an absolute zoo. Even up at Mandalay Bay, it was wall-to-wall people. I was approached by more prostitutes than I ever have in my life -- just out on the floor, walking up to me and asking me if I wanted "company for dinner".
    To be fair, that is not limited to AVN weekend!
