Staying at Delano for the first time in about 3 years and I have some concerns about it now being dog friendly. I love animals, that is not the issue. I am concerned about the smell of dog urine and/or pet odors in the rooms. Anyone have any issues or advice for me? Thank you in advance.

Dear God, I hope and assume they do not allow dogs.

I've only stayed there twice, but no issues on those fronts. I've seen many more dogs at Cosmopolitan than at Delano.

I've stayed there about a dozen times and never had an issue. There's quite a few dog-friendly hotels on the strip.

Delano/The Hotel has always been dog friendly. Not sure why you’re so appalled at the thought of it. I’ve never heard anyone complain about it. I’m sure on occasion there can be a previous bad tenant that can cause an issue for the next one but that can happen with or without dogs if housekeeping misses doing something about it. I’ve also found those suites to be large and rather well insulated so sound transmission is less likely than it might be in other places. Plus like all hotels I’m sure the dog friendly rooms are only on certain floors.

I stayed there in December and didn’t even know they were dog friendly, so I think it’all be fine.

Only a limited selection of their rooms allow pets. Just don't book one of those rooms.

Yeah, but generally people don't crap on the floors or pee in the corners. It's not about bad tenants, it's about dogs natural urge and the difficulty in always predicting it.

    It's an honest concern.

I do hope the dog friendly room are on certain floors, but I doubt that there is enough demand for them to ONLY use them for dog+people reservations.

Count me in as someone who's sick of people bringing their animals everywhere.

They abuse the system to get them into public, cramped places. It's time for a crackdown. Has been for awhile.

Stayed at Delano October 2017 and May 2018. As previous poster said, I didn’t realize it was dog friendly.
