I've taken the shuttle from DT to the airport a few times... always in the early-AM, and only when I'm solo.
The only stops en-route to the airport were 2 other downtown properties. That's it.

2 or more people? From DT, walk right up to one of the cabbies parked at the Binion's cab-stand (Casino Center). Offer $30 total, including tip, for the airport. I've successfully done this. (PS - they take surface streets when they do this...which is quite telling).

I used to cab from the airport to my hotel which is the Gold Coast. Now I take the shuttle. Return to the airport I always take a cab. I rather be on time to the airport and not be stressed out wondering if I will be missing my flight.

I decided to cancel with airport shuttle company and pay a little more for a VIP shuttle from presidential limo for $28. After hearing these stories about airport shuttle co I realized it's totally worth losing my $14.50 if I can avoid a hassle. It's a small part of my total trip budget but could make the experience much better.

I forgot to add that I purchased the VIP shuttle through the limo section of mccarran airport website by clicking on bell trans. On bell trans site click airport shuttle at the top.

The VIP shuttle uses limos and SUVs instead of vans, and has fewer passengers so fewer stops. Hopefully it will be good.
