My fond gambling memories are also with my sister as we'd go to the Maryland firehouse to play questionably legal blackjack (supposedly being donated to the fire station) and getting free sodas and Filipino food, and taking the day bus to Atlantic City with a free roll of quarters that we'd plunk down at the first video poker bar to get a free drink, then cashout immediately to game the system.

I told this story to my new coworkers as a way of introduction, and I think they now see me as a degenerate gambler.

 

I love seeing dogs in Vegas. Someone should create a coffee table book of The Dogs of Vegas.

Okay, i have found myself in a casino food court eating Subway. I know some of you have been there…

Did a money count, seemed short, then I remembered i bought $80 worth of chocolate.

My brother is playing 4/8 Omaha. Not sure how long. I may have time for a movie lol

 

okay, back from the Orleans. Played for a while, got some great hands but still lost there. I really like their pool but from what I’ve read on this board, I don’t hold out much hope in getting offers. We’ll see

 

I did get my bleeping cake pan lol. I’ll leave it for housekeeping.

 

I really like el cortez but I get so lost. It reminds me of the Overlook Hotel. The red hallways, the elevators.

 

Finally went to White Castle. I love onion rings so I tried the onion fingers. Pretty good, didn’t die, nice staff!

 

They had sweatshirts again! I don’t know how I’m gonna keep it clean but I’ll try ( or tie dye it)

This is my white whale slot machine. So hard to find, so entertaining, so stupid. I will save my family thousands when Im old and stupid if they just buy one of these for my house. No need for assisted living, just depends and quarters please.

 

I just made spaghetti in a pasta pot I got from the Palms last trip! I packed stuff in and around it to get it home just to annoy my wife.

 

Omg I’m drinking chardonnay and singing along to Journey. Someone take me out. I couldn’t have led a richer life…

From the pics I took last trip, it looks like it only matters on the 5 card royal. So not much of a penalty. I played it at Gold Coast last trip for 90 pennies (max bet there). Still a 9/6 DDB five card paytable though (~99%)!

Well if you only ate the onion chips, I wouldn't expect you to die! Their onion rings/chips are good, but they won't test your body like the burgers will! Haha
