Yeah I know. I thought about doing a separate post for each day, but I liked it all being post 8000.

Yeah, but with all the crap we did, I think the most I could have devoted to downtown is a couple of hours. :( And I feel like I should I should love "The Offspring" for all the time I played it at Illini Union. For awhile I was probably the only student playing it. It was my grad school addiction before poker...

    Z-O-U!!!

I flunked editing class here...lol I was across the quad in engineering mostly.

    1) Owned by MGM, but it has its own players' club. It's a minimum 100.25%, but ~0.54% is devoted to the sequential royal. There is one bank near the west bar. And another one around the table games and Krispy Kreme if I recall correctly. They have separate progressives. When I played, the West bar one was higher.

    2) Yes, Cromwell is a CET property. The bank is near the Las Vegas Blvd. entrance. It only offers 1/5th points, and probably no theo toward any offers (that's just a guess though). And also it's only available for quarters

    And thanks everybody!!!

And the gambling itch wasn't scratched for too long. I had to get a new prescription for contacts, and conveniently chose a Thursday because Hollywood St. Louis was conveniently running a "Hot Seat" Promo 10 minutes away. M was with me as well, and her name got called to win $100 of Free Slot Play!

And she decided to gamble it up by playing quarter 6/5 Super DDB instead of her usual nickels and it paid off!

She ended profiting all that $100!

And here was my fortune from the Chinese we ate there. I can only hope!!!

Sounds like you had a ton of entertainment with a minimum loss. You need to teach everyone else how to do that!

Tring. Great report and was awesome meeting you in person. Head a great trip for us all around. Incidentally, on the way out, was looking for gas and out of the blue pulled into Gold Coast to have a look. It's VP heaven over there massive amount of machines and great payables.

Always love your reports. Surprised 1) it took you until Day 2 to get to TAG and 2) your time was limited there this trip! Love that place.

Sounds like an awesome trip. Might have to go to my local, drink some beer, and play extra shitty paytables!

I thought from your title that you won $8k.... oh well. All that gambling and drinking for maybe down $40 is amazing. Thanks for the report and all the gambling and beer action.

I keep meaning to check out Tag! Maybe next trip...

I had the same reaction, and am.

Great report Tring, thanks for making it live via messenger. Gambo, that's a word I live by, especially since you asked while I was sitting at a machine in Tunica myself. :poke:

Yo Tring, awesome report and congrats on 8K+ posts in just a few short years. Your contribution to VMB as resident VP and craft beer expert has added to many a Vegas experience.

So TAG just shuts down? Is that every late night or just a freak occurrence?

Helps when I can bullshit with someone. :wink2: When games got pretty cold (fortunately not too often), I tried to surf the web, look at VMB, etc. When you skip the forum a few days, takes awhile to catch up!

 One of these days we'll be in the same gambling destination again! :evillaugh

Yes, unfortunately TAG closes most nights. The demand isn't really there to keep it open 24 hours, especially on weekdays. Although there were about 6 people there when I showed up at 1:50am. Even at the linq catalyst bar, it was just me and the bartender at 530am I think. But after he said he was willing to grab beers for me from TAG, I won't have to worry about getting there super early for the beers. I should learn to gamble/drink earlier though. I tend to not really get going til after midnight... And I do still like playing Triple Bonus Plus at TAG though, even though that game often hates me...Bah. Playing it at the bar when it was closed also made me feel more like a degenerate.

Nice meeting you guys too!!! Know the feeling about working on the TR. Details and pics are work!

Nice meeting you guys too! And yes, offstrip casinos are often places of VP heaven. We didn't even make it to Gold Coast this time. And downtown is pretty good for VP choices. But something has to be said about the casino being a less glamorous, and in the case of off-strip...more spread out. I could tell you guys liked the strip too...and even I do as well. Just a lot more work to find good VP on the strip. :(

    Thanks again everybody!
