    My Trip Report

    20240429_201536.jpg

    I am all packed!
Just a two hour flight on Southwest and I will be arriving on Tuesday. Oh, and Wynn is sending a car to pick me up from the airport, so yeah, I am feeling fancy this trip.:p

It will be my first time staying in a Wynn tower suite king. I have only ever stayed on the Encore side before. My new host set it up. He told me, but I can't remember my monthly offer's RC or free credit amounts. I am curious to see what I get once I check-in. I know I could call and ask, but I am going to make it a surprise for myself instead. LOL!

It won't be over $1,000 in free credits, I know that. Then maybe some time at the pool in the afternoon.

My bank roll for Wynn is $3,000, plus my mystery freeplay amount. I need to use up some expiring resort credits too. Maybe some spa products for that.

Encore spa will be my main theme for Wednesday. I am not going to gamble too much this stay. I just want to relax, check out the pools, enjoy the spa, and chill. #1 goal is to rest and escape a little.

It hasn't been the best week for me, or couple of months, or year frankly. So, my dear husband suggested this stay. He said since I like Wynn so much, I should take a couple days to give myself a little bit of respite from real life. (I love that man.)

I have dinner at Lakeside the first night and then probably the Wynn Buffet the second night. I feel less self-conscious eating alone at the buffet for some reason. Breakfasts are at Tableau and Jardin.

Thursday I check out of Wynn and go see my girlfriend for the day. Then I check into Cosmo in a FV wrap-around. I am participating in a buy-in slot tournament there. I'm supposed to earn 125,000 Identity points for a bonus round before Saturday at noon.

I don't I care about the bonus round though, honestly. I have been doing so poorly in these slot tournaments for awhile now, it's become like "Eh! Why bother?" But regardless, it will probably be a heavier gambling day on Thursday...or a long pool day? Not sure yet. It will probably involve lots of cocktails either way though.

Friday I am going to Sahra Spa in the morning. Also, I am checking into Bellagio because I am getting a room for my friend by using my MGM rewards comp offer. I will take the freeplay while she gets the room! I guess it's a fountain view king room. I actually booked a remodeled spa tower room but Bellagio changed it for some reason unbeknownst to me. Anyway, at Bellagio I have $600 in freeplay and $250 in resort credit.

I am about 86k points of renewing platinum tier at MGM. I doubt I will make much of a dent in that 86k this trip. I don't mind burning MGM a little bit though. They're going to burn me on my Identity conversion so, "one bad turn deserves another", or some such proverb like that.

My bank roll for Cosmo and Bellagio is $3,000 plus a healthy chunk of freeplay at Cosmo.

My husband arrives in Vegas on Friday to join me. Dinner that night will be at Bavette's.

Saturday I head to the Bellagio salon with my girlfriend to get our hair done. Then afterwards is the slot tournament. I won't win anything, I am sure, but there's free food & cocktails. The minimum prize is $2,400 in freeplay so there is that.

Dinner is at LPM. First time trying it. So looking forward to the cheesecake! Sunday is an early flight home.
Forgive me if I fail at a posting after this. I am on vacation. ;)

Come on, win the tournament this time! If anything, at least you’ll see what new fashion wear can be made out of Cosmo cocktail napkins.

Love your plan, Mony! Good luck at the slot tournament! I chose not to participate, so I’m rooting for you to come out on top :)

Your freeplay and bankroll combination is confusing. Are you a low roller or not?? :kill:

    Have a great time @Mony!

The daily tier accelerator bonuses are still active. All you have to do is channel that @ColoVegPlayer energy for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Well, as long as they use the same conversion they planned to use last year, you should become MGM platinum even though the 1:1 tier conversion is God-awful for Cosmo players.

Have a great trip and hope you do great in the tourney!

I was thinking MGM could really class it up for the buy-in tournaments like this one and move from cocktail napkins to gowns made from the stained table cloths.

My plane was delayed but I made it! We were about a half hour late getting in. Not too bad! Wynn is super busy today. I don't know how I lucked out getting into an elevator with just one other person (especially if you would have saw the line of people waiting.) They are packing themselves in like sardines I tell ya!

It was a breeze at check-in. The girl was new here but great! I was able to get an upgrade and I am the room now enjoying the view!

What a wonderful room!! I understand about the mindless escape that Vegas brings…..a pause button on the DVR of Life.
Your plans sounds perfect….pool…spa….girlfriend time…. then your thoughtful husband arrives. Can’t wait to hear about your trip.

I left Wynn this morning. The convention crowd was unbelievable. I’ve never seen the elevators so busy. And must the convention attendees stop in large groups in the middle of the walkways to chat? I had great luck on the slots during my trip. I hope they’re still hot for you!
