I have no clue where I'm at fundage-wise... but I feel pretty damn good about the challenge I had a blast and it was an absolutely awesome way to spend a night downtown! If you're not good at math, I'll do my best to figure out the result in the morning...

 

No joke, every time I pass Victory Burger with a Club One food credit to spend I think to myself "You gotta try this, JR keeps saying how great it is in his TRs". Somehow the allure of the chicken ginger dumplings at 8 East always pulls me away. I think I need to make a point of giving it a go!

Regarding the challenge... I think the fact that you didn't even do a count-up afterward says it all about how much fun it was... i.e., if it was only okay, I feel like most people would have counted up right away to be like "Okay, let's see how much this ended up costing me". But if it was so fun that this is almost an afterthought, that says a lot IMO!

 

You gotta give it a try! Deeelish!

I had a blast doing the Ultra Slot Challenge... I wasn't sure if I was gonna make it, but I did! I started out slow...was at El Cortez for about 45 mins and realized that if I want to make it to 12 casinos I gotta speed things up. Even 30 mins at each place would take a total of 6 hours, which is probably around what it took time-wise. It's something I'll definitely do again

 

So... final count on the slot challenge, from my calculations, which could be wrong, is... drum roll please.... +$80.04

As mentioned in the previous comment, I had a blast! I got to visit each casino and wander around looking for the slot I had to play, had a brewskie in each casino, which I sometimes had to veer off track a bit to get... as you can imagine the drink service is not always super quick, so what I did a few times is go to a bar and play $20 of VP to get a beer. I did this because I'd rather lose $20 in VP with a chance of winning instead of paying the $7-$9 just to straight up buy one. Even if the result wasn't as good as it was I would have still had fun doing this, I will definitely be doing it again in the future!

As you also seen, I ended up playing some BJ at Golden Gate while I was there for a $300 W.

Alright...recap of yesterday's activities...

Was up on about 4 hours of sleep... I can't get a good sleep in Vegas for some reason. Well yesterday I know it was because I was too damn excited to get my day going haha

I hadn't eaten since 5pm ET the day before, so I started the day at Saginaw's. Sandwich was good. I then took off and visited Spinettis which was pretty awesome. I'll definitely be back there to get my Barbary Coast chip in the future. From there I cruised on down to Summerlin, hit up Total Wine then went over to City National Arena. I happened to get there as the Golden Knights were leaving from their last practice before the Winter Classic game tomorrow. Security said some players will stop and take picture and sign autographs for the fans, bit nobody did as far as I seen.

I then went over to Sports Town. I had a VGK jersey I wanted to get customized, but unfortunately they didn't have the right materials available.

Scooted on down to Durango from there... you can see my thoughts on that place in my previous comments. I liked it.



I then cruised on down to Tuscany Casino...



As you seen I did get my $1 chip. There were 4 BJ tables and all paid 3-2. They were $15 min. Played a couple slots there as well without any wins.

From there I made my way back to the Nugget via Las Vegas Boulevard...







Dropped the drinks off in the room then made a quick stop to get our tickets for the NYE party tonight. Sounds like it'll be pretty cool!

I then took off for my Ultra Slots Challenge.

I continued to play slots at the Nugget for a few hours after the challenge was done and did pretty good... here are the best hits...

After a quick count I am actually ahead gambling-wise for the trip so far

As for today... well, I get to head to the airport this afternoon to pick up the GF. Her flight looks like it's on time. Looking forward to having my partner in crime with me for the rest of the trip! We got the party at the Nugget tonight then we'll ring in the New Year on Fremont Street... should be a blast!
