Originally, we had planned to go to MargaritaVille...but it'll be on October 17th...and Jimmy Buffet is gonna be in town, so it'll probably be PACKED!
Any other "fun" place to go eat on the strip, on a friday night?
FWIW, We'll have about 15 people in our party.
    Thanks!

If you can do "fun" & rowdy (raunchy possibly... lol ) how about Dick's Last Resort at Excalibur? We had a great time at the one in PCB last summer.

I went to margaritaville in June with a wedding party and it was a great time. I was surprised at the price vs portion value and above average quality of the food. The balloon artists on stilts did a special one for the bride and groom, and we saw two of the set shows whilst there, cheesy but fun. I would just try to see if you can get reservations for a large table. We had to wait 45 minutes on a Friday night for a table of 12.

Twin Peaks! Better food than either DLR or SeƱor Frog's (got violently ill there last year and filed a complaint with Clark County Board of Health, prompting an inspection). Plus Twin Peaks has other very nice assets, and a great view of the strip too.

agree very much with both Margaritaville and Twin Peaks.. Both are great choices b/c of food and atmosphere.
depending on your seating, the views at TP are awesome.

I like those 4 plus I would also add a couple of restaurants at the Linq:
Tilted Kilt - same concept as the Twin Peaks
Yard House - big space that can easily accommodate a group of 15, nice patio area as well

They don't do reservations. I tried to get a reso for dinner after our luau themed vow renewal we're doing in a couple weeks, but they wouldn't do it. For groups bigger than 12, they'll try to sell you one of their group dining menus which IMO are more expensive than ordering off the menu. They have a waiting list or something like that (think call ahead seating) that you can do a week or so out, but only for parties under 12. We're just going to try and get our names on that list and hopefully we don't wait too long.

You can also send a couple of people ahead of time that don't mind checking in and drinking at the bar. I fulfilled that role...they've got really cheap shots of Margaritaville brand tequila (meh, but drinkable for the hard up like me) and I think Ketel One specials as well.
