Traveling to downtown soon...we are mid-40's and like to lounge at the pool during the day..think Golden Nugget Hideout upstairs pool. We're not big strip-goers.No super loud music but a nice vibe and good drink service. Decent, clean pool to cool off in. Has anyone been at the rooftop pool at the Downtown Grand yet? The publicity pictures look pretty nice. Details anyone? Older crowd? Younger crowd? No crowd? Thanks so much, we read this board religiously!

It's definitely nice. We swung by for a look-see in late March while we were staying there. There's a shaded bar, and lounges all around. There weren't many people there, but it was a weekday & very windy. I didn't notice the music level, which should indicate it wasn't overly loud. They are doing live music on weekend nights now as well.

Was there two weeks ago on a Thursday and Friday... Music was at a decent level and a really good mix.... Some oldies some new,,, for sure heard Steve Miller, Rolling Stones in the mix. Had a couple pina coladas $12 each. Tipped the pool attendant $5 and he was happy to set up an umbrella and move it around as necessary. Didn't have any of the food they offered but it looked good and the waitress was around with regularity... Towels were great and they had covers for the chairs. Lots of open cabanas do not know the price. swam both days and even got a bunch of laps in before it got crowded one day. Pool is long and narrow and raises up a bit which makes it a weird climb to get into. Enjoyed my time at their pool. They did come by to check for room keys but did not scan them... I think it is $15 otherwise
