MyVegas room confirmations... sorry, cant find it in FAQ

When redeeming a room do you get a confirmation number from MyVegas? Like you would with any other comp or even purchasing the room.
I was just wondering. When I phoned them for my Luxor stay I did not get one.
She just told me to go to check in & I'd be set.
Is this the norm for hotel stays using MyVegas points?

If I recall correctly I gave them my DL and credit card and that was it. I would call the hotel and double check your reservation. Good Luck.

 

I agree with keno60, you should call and reconfirm a few weeks before. I read in a trip report that Mandalay Bay didn't have record of someone's MyVegas reservation when they checked in.

 

When you call Myvegas to redeem your room they should give you a confirmation #.

The 3 times I've redeemed a room I was given a number.

BTW, Myvegas room reservations never seem to show up online on the hotel's guest services reservation page.

 

I have always been given a confirmation number when booking a MyVegas room that shows online. Of course, I have not used my points anywhere but Aria. YMMV.

If you go to the guest services page of the hotel, you should be able to enter the confirmation number you were given over the phone and the last four of the card you used when you booked and pull up the confirmation details. It will show the rack rate for the room for the night, not Comp, but it is a comp room.

 

Funny, my reservation thru MYvegas has never shown on the guest service page.

Could be me, had it in my TR. My reservation with myvegas was linked with mlife and comped but my husband's was not. They had to comp it like it was through the casino. Took about an hour off the start of our stay. i was hungry and ready to go. I stayed calm though and we got the resort fees in the end.

Take your myvegas comp # with you. I got a reservation code when i made ours but i took no chances and had every # written down.

It took some back peddling for them to come up with the confirmation numbers. I did get them though. Hope all works out.

I booked 3 nights at Aria with MyVegas and it doesn't show up either

 

I've got three nights at Aria coming up and was given confirmation codes.

A mate coming with us has nights at Monte Carlo and was given email confirmations.

Go figure

I've gotten confirmation codes for aria and mgm, but never emails. Aria I was able to lookup online, I don't recall if I did for mgm.
