Not only that, but the auto-grat is just absolutely unconscionable for people who are just grabbing a drink at the bar. It's bad enough on a normal check, but like you mentioned in your other thread, people were tossing down a buck or two cash after getting their drinks.

I never jumped on the resort-fee bandwagon, but this is a bit much even for my business-lovin' ways.

Is this just at Double Barrel? I posted a review in another thread. We had probably the worst service I've ever had anywhere. Good food, awful service. Hope they get it turned around.

It's certainly not that way at the Pub.

Merged paperposter's orginal thread with this one.

I guess we all need to be vigilant when signing credit card receipts and ask for a receipt on cash transactions from here on out. I'd walk when seeing crap like that.

Shock you bring up a really good point and may have a possible solution. On the first round, when they ask if you want to start a tab, explain that you want to pay cash. Two Coors @ $22.00??? I might as well be drinking at an interpretive dance club where performers/artists are ladies working their way through college.

Double Barrel is on Twitter -> @DoubleBarrelLV

Might have to give them a little negative social media attention...

Some of this is lawsuit fodder. They aren't disclosing this stuff to customers in advance. When hotels did this decades ago, they ended up with class action suits which is why they make sure their resort fee info is posted somehow. The one the really irritates me is the CNF or concession and franchise fee which is added on as if it were a government fee. With as much as these places are already charging for their stuff, they can't figure out how to roll in a couple more cents for their franchise expenses?

So what's next? A new fee for charging a fee? Or a "glass" fee since you ordered a drink or how about a napkin fee since you didn't want to dirty your shirt...:grrr:

That receipt might as well have said "Here's your receipt. Please never come back." on the bottom.

My husband wanted to have his Bday dinner at DoubleBarrel, but thanks to Paperposters helpful review I talked him out of it. I don't mind paying a fair price for a good meal/drinks, but this goes way beyond that to ripoff territory.

Their offer of 50% off with a receipt is pretty weak; they know most Vegas visitors don't keep their receipts. I know I don't have mine. I will not visit that establishment again.
