Have not seen anything on here about Binions new cafe. I got a chance to eat there on Sunday night, and have to say it is a huge improvement over the old one. They have added quite a bit to the menu, and almost doubled the size of the restaurant. It is nice that they have walled it off from the casino. I did not notice any price increases.

I had their Prime Rib, and have to say it was better than the 4 Queens, Golden Gate, or California's, for $10.95. Their new menu is not up on their website yet, hopefully it will be soon.

Thanks for the information; I will check it out soon. I like the other DT prime rib, so I'm looking forward to Binion's.

I ate there three times in March and I agree, vast improvement.
Make sure to check your "swipes" before you go eat, you may win a $10 off coupon.

I ate there for lunch on Saturday and found the service to be incredibly slow and inattentive. I don't see myself trying it again.

What do they serve with the prime rib dinner? I like the Cal prime rib dinner because you also get the salad bar (endless) and cherries jubilee for dessert.

How are the prices there for the other items?

The prime rib came with a small corn on the cobb, fries, horseradish, au jus, and warm dinner rolls. I am not sure if you had a choice of potato or not. I like what comes with the one at the Cal better, but I liked the cut of meat at Binions a lot better. Prices on other items were comparable to say Magnolias at 4 queens, or maybe a little less. Tuna melt was around $7, and I cant remember other items on the menu.

I have always found the service there to be hit or miss, but never really bad.

    Good Burger

I ate there a month ago, we both got the burgers. Still very good. I don't remember the price but it seems like it was a buck more than before, not positive. I asked and they said they are still cooked on the "well seasoned" grill that was in there before the remodel.
