e Restaurant, my search fu might have failed

I am heading out to Vegas and I want to attend e by Jose Andres at the Cosmopolitan.

I thought it was a make a reservation 30 days ahead of your planned date.

Nope, I contacted e! and it is three months in advance. I did get lucky and contacted reservations on Wednesday, as the email says reservation office is closed on Monday and Tuesday of each week. But with a canned response, maybe that is a bad sign.

The restaurant is closed on Monday.

For May 30, 2014, I should have made a reservation on February 28, 2014.

Not exactly sure of my status with e, I guess I will find out. I estimate my chances are less than slim to none, but my fingers are crossed.

 

I scored a reservation for Memorial Day Weekend.

Of course, I have to submit the form in the next 48 hours to confirm.

 

I am confirmed. I even get to get there at 5 PM to discuss the booze options.

That means I will be outside the door at 4:45 PM.

 

Is this is the special little bar with the set menu with like 12 seats? If so, please post stories with pictures!

 

Which night is your reservation? My wife and I are dining the Sunday night of that weekend.

 

Sunday Night, 5:30 PM.

Are you that seating or the 8 PM Seating?

 

It is not a set menu, it changes all the time. Lots of small courses.

8 seats. A dinner serving at 5:30 PM and another one at 8:00 PM. I guess I will have to hurry up to get out of there for the 8:00 PMers to get in.

I went to e last year, and it was absolutely fantastic. Well worth it, and it's a fantastic experience. Can't wait to hear your report, BackInVegas. The pacing is perfect. You won't have anything to worry about.
