As you can tell by my countdown, I will be at the Mandalay Bay this weekend. I have not stayed at the southern part of the strip for a very long time. How is the dice action down there? How are the weekend limits? Is there anything under $25 limits? Maybe over at Luxor or Excalibur?

    Cheers!

Not sure about MB, but Luxor and Excal should have $10 games. The last time I was at Excal there were only 2 or 3 tables open on the weekends and they were always packed. If you can make your way down to MGM they have a few more tables open.

Excalibur always has a $5 table in play, Mandalay Bay had one $10 table in its "Party Pit" near the dancers and blackjack tables.

MB/Excal/Luxor will all have $5 during day, $10 at night. Even Aria will have as low as $15 at night, usually 2 tables going. I've had a lot of fun playing craps for hours at Excal....lol it's like a relaxed vibe in that place or something.

A bit off topic but does Aria ever get down to $10? I've been through before but have never seen anything less than $15.

Yep, except one time I was there when a kid rolled 13 points and they jacked it to $10 at soon as he rolled out. I think the roll was an hour and a half. :D

When I lived in vegas I spent quite a bit of time at the Southpoint. I think they only have 2x odds though if I remember right.

BTW WAY off topic, but tonight at Southpoint if you are in town an awesome band is playing 80's hair metal: The Sin City Sinners! Unfortunately I don't get in town until tomorrow

Aria will have tables during the day and weekday nights at $10. Though if gets busy they will go up to $15. But besides weekends I have not had a hard time finding a $10 table at Aria for Craps.

Well, I am back from the Mandalay Bay and the limits where usually 15 at one table and 25 at the others. The 15 dollar table was full, but managed a spot and had a great time Saturday night at the craps table (no big wins, but a fun table ).
On Sunday it was the same limits (it was around 11 pm) by the time I got to the tables. One 15 dollar table was full++ and the three 25 dollar tables were full too. I thought this was odd so I took a closer look- everyone was playing $15 on the 25 table, they must have raised the limits and grandfathered them in. Fortunately the Luxor is nearby and they had 2 full tables at $10 and another fun crowd, won a bit even!

Despite having to walk a bit to find a game I am quite pleased that so money people have discovered craps and are making their game if choice!

I noticed nobody mentioned the Tropicana? They should have low limit craps as well.

Depends on how busy they are, I stay at Aria quite a bit and early morning/mid day you can usually grab a $10 table if it get's crowded and they have 2-3 $10 tables full they bump it up.....night time always $15 min and up.

We might have been at the same table a few times over the weekend! We played craps at Excal and Luxor for many hours this past weekend...

If you want some real good dice action check out Binions on Fremont St. The best craps I've ever played was between there and The Fremont.

I can confirm this. Excal didn't have a $5 table the entire weekend (Thursday-Monday morning). Kind of sucks that I had to go all the way to Harrah's and Casino Royale to find a $5 min craps table, since I play craps almost exclusively in Vegas. Hell, I even checked at hooters - no $5 table. :grrr:

BTW, Casino Royale's craps minimum is now $5 versus the $3 it was last time I played craps there. They also have only one table so it's usually packed.
