I was talking to some people about going to see an illusionist in Vegas on my next trip and his name keeps coming up. Was wondering if anyone had seen his show and what you thought of it? Also any other magic/Illusion shows you would recommend?

I saw the show, but he was on vacation. Don't know if the illusions were different or not, I don't think so though. Show was okay, worth the $20 on Groupon.

i saw the show last year at the riviera.
that place is bad. the theater is even worse. normal chairs. 3 sections.
we bought tickets for the mid section (dont know the name for it).
no seat numbers. they assign you seats as you line up in front of the theater.
his "illusions" are good! he definitively needs a bigger venture.
the music before his show is ridiculously bad.
jan rouven over Penn & Teller (by far).

we liked the chris angel show at the luxor too.
save your money and dont get tickets for penn & teller.

however, NOTHING COMPARES TO SIEGFRIED AND ROY!!!!!

Holy cow, it's the elusive Bigfoot - I have NEVER seen a review on this board from someone who enjoyed Criss Angel!

Criss Angel has a lot of talent but the Believe show is not good. It's a bad mix. Not worth itl. I saw S&R. glad I saw them once but very overrated. A handful of illusions and lots of fluff. Rouven is pretty good but yeah he needs a better venue.

after we saw penn & teller...and then the riviera theater, our "las-vegas-magician-o-meter" has a very low standard :)

I often find that having a low bar (in entertainment at least) makes me happier in life:thumbsup:

    Very good

We went to see this show last week - it was very good!
Some of the tricks are amazing - could it be this guy is unique - a German with a sense of humour.

He does a meet and greet at the end but this is to promote his merchandise.
He does sign a card for you and let you have a photo taken.
