How do you spend your last night in Vegas?

Just wondering how people spend their last night in Vegas.

Last year was lack luster as we had an early morning flight and had to be at the airport early.

This year our flight leaves around 10:20am - but is with Allegiant (so we will probably be at the airport at 9:00am - but still late enough to make the most of our evening before.

So what do you guys/girls do on your last night?

 

We have a tradition, we always have our last drinks at Mix Lounge, Mandalay Bay. We always fly back on a Tue. so Monday nights are kinda mellow, always have gotten a table up against the glass. We have some good drinks and reflect on the trip.

This year we will casino hop during the day, then dinner at Bellagio buffet, then onto NYNY to see Zumanity. It lets out at 11 or so then we will head to Mix. We always stay up late on the last night to get back on track for east coast time change and to sleep on the plane.

 

I try to make the most of it my last night. Iv always gotten southwest last flight of the day which gave me a whole day extra in town but this year due to cost I have a 6 am flight. I don't want to make the mistake I did last time. I took what was suppose to be a short nap my last night but did not wake up till morning. This time with having a 6am flight I may not even sleep.

 

I usually stay up all night and get shitfaced.... it allows me to sleep the whole plane ride home

 

Stay up as late as possible!

 

Cry a bit because we're leaving and start planning our next trip...Love this place.

 

I'm the outlier I guess...last night there I usually go the bed early so I can get up early and hit the road to beat the traffic...

 

I usually catch a show on the last night as I'm probably exhausted.

 

It is usually day 5 so we are pretty well spent. We eat a nice dinner out, gamble some and have a few cocktails.

 

By the time we get past the last evening dinner, we are completely done with our gambling ... but we usually do one more thing. With the ACG coupon for two free tickets, we go to the Riviera Comedy Club. Show starts at 8:30 pm, and we're usually back to our room by 10:30. We then pack up for our final morning check-out, and hit the sack ....

 

That could be fun!

Our last night is a Friday night. What time would we want to get there to get a table by the window, any cover charge?

 

Friday night will be a lot more packed. I woud get there by 9 for sure. I have never been charged a cover, I have always gone early. I have heard they occassionally do charge though.

 

Are you aware of any Happy Hour at Mix?

from 5pm to 8pm. drinks are very reasonable anyways for LV and considering this is a top 3 view of the strip. Also 25% off menu items, I recommned the mini cheeseburgers!

 

By the time our last evening rolls around we try and do anything close to the hotel that we have either forgotten to do or just didnt have time. Usually have a nice dinner somewhere and just chill out maybe a few drinks or beers, nothing crazy. Usually I am to the point by the last night that I dont even want a drink as I have submerged my liver in so much alcohol it is screaming for water for the next month. Dead serious though, alot of trips I cant hardly drink after the 2nd or 3rd night. Too much too fast, dont know my limits in Vegas I think lol! We usually take a 10-1030 flight home so it gives us time to wake up and get breakfast at dupars or binions before heading to the airport! Its always a bittersweet time though, lots of reflection on the past few days but eagerness to get back home to reality as well!

 

Our last nite is usually a Tuesday nite and we end up starting from one end of the strip and making our way to the end of the strip with the "ATTEMPT" to have a drink in every casino along the way. This has been a tradition since my first vegas trip. My trip starts that way and ends that way.

A few times we ended up so wasted we just stayed another nite and caught a flight home the following day.

Almost exactly like me! i can go hard for the first 3 days and nights, but by the last night im a shell of a man. I try my best but i just have nothing left in me!

We went to play in a soccer tournament a couple of years ago. we flew in on Thursday and the tournament is held on friday and saturday afternoons and they have crazy partys in the evening. I decided, along with a few of my team mates to book an extra day and fly home monday. What a mistake that was!!!! We booked a massive suite at Planet Hollywood to have a party on the last night. Bought 5 bottles of grey goose, hired 2 strippers to come to put on a show... it was gonna be epic.

We went absolutely CRAZY when we got to vegas, barely slept or ate at all... and when the last night came around we were so exhausted we cancelled the strippers, barely finished 1 bottle and ended up watching the jackass movie and eating pizza. i was in bed by 10pm and i just wanted to go home! What a trip though!

 

Last night is when i raise the gambling stakes ( if bankroll is still alive)

 

We don't really have any set tradition for the last night. We leave at all different times of day -- early morning, mid morning, red-eye flights -- and the last time we were there, we were driving. I'm usually pretty depressed on our last night and also pretty exhausted so we're low-key. My SO usually stays up really late, getting in that last minute gambling. I do a little bit of it but usually end up back in the room, just having a bath, watching TV, relaxing. Whether or not we go to a show or a nice dinner out just depends on what we've scheduled. Maybe this year when we go (in March) I'll suggest we come up with some fun tradition to help lift the depression!
