Spamalot (wish they'd bring it back!)
Tom Jones (4 times! Not a fan, but what an entertainer!)

    SEEN

Wayne Newton back in the early 80s. As a kid, in an old school showroom, it was amazing.

    WISH

    Rickles in his heyday
    Rat Pack
    A classic fight at Caesars
    Sammy Davis Jr alone (underrated)

I agree. Even the TV special was really good. I watched it twice.

It threads like this that I miss GregRIO's contributions. RIP in the big theatre in the sky our T2V friend.

For me has to be Elton John and Billy Joel together for 4 hour concert at MGM Grand in 1994 or 1995. I was just so so fans of both of them but realized their influence when I pretty much knew each and every song they played. Plus they just put on a really good show, giving each other crap between songs and Billy Joel did a hilarious Elvis impression!

2nd favorite show would have been at comedy club in 87 or 88 I am guessing, was either Riviera or Trop, saw this hilarious comedian, had us in stitches, he wasn't even the headliner, was like 1st or 2nd guy. Just crazy over the top stuff. Couple of years later, I saw Chris Rock on SNL for the first time!

    Error

I mentioned seeing Elvis at LVH, but in actual fact, it was the International (original hotel name).

Gladys Knight, at both Flamingo and her short stint at the Trop.

She was just incredible. No backup dancers, nothing flashy. Just her, a spotlight, a killer backup band and that voice.

Best act I've seen? The "college student" who thought I was cute and wanted to party.

Danny Gans and since he impersonated Garth Brooks I can honestly say he not only came close but hit it out of the park. Words cannot describe Danny Gans, especially when he did the 8 days of Christmas so fast by himself I would of thought it was not humanly possible. But not taking anything away from Brooks.

Carlin's show at stardust 7 or 8 years ago was the only
show I've ever walked out of, as did 75% of the audience.
I would imagine he was funnier in his younger days. That
night he was just mean, nasty and not at all funny.

Caesar, Saw this show in spring of 2000. Songs hits written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller. The great thing was we had gotten a voucher to see the show & a free buffet in the mail from Caesars. Cann't remember which theater but we were seated at a table with a really nice couple from Canada.
