    Hello gang,

Short version, I have been in the casino boz for about 20 years and have to relocate due to my health.

Comming in from MN we have a 4 day road trip planned with our 4 VERY small dogs.

Been looking at houses to lease once we get there.

Anyone have any input they would like to offer?

    thanks

I had checked another crime map.

They look to be in pretty good pockets, much of Vegas seems this way.

A few blocks makes all the difference it seems.

I'm personally not a fan of Sunrise Manor. It's far out, without a major expressway real close so that lengthens any commute with all the stop and go, and congestion of major streets.

The other home on the east side has a far more convenient location.

Both areas are near less desirable pockets so drive around during night and day to see if you're comfortable with it as a daily commute, neighborhood stores, etc.

There are many homes for rent. However, the prime ones move quickly. So, when you find a keeper don't hesitate.

    Happy hunting!

It appears the west of Decatur and north of Carey there is NO Crime AT ALL!

All the way over to the 15...

I suspect this is some municipality that simply does not report?
    Seem impossible.

I would like to find something more in the center but I keep being told there is nothing decent there.
That also seems unlikely, I keep hearing "Henderson and Summerlin" there must be some more centrally located areas that are livable.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

We plan to start looking at homes Feb 7th ....

The addresses your seeking might fall in North Las Vegas jurisdiction rather than LV-Metro.

Summerlin and Henderson are known as most desirable. However, I prefer areas in between. I lived in Spring Valley for ten years. I really like it there, we switched it up six months ago and moved to Silverado Ranch. We've been happy there.

I have friends in Centennial Hills. They like it. It's too far out for me personally, but you can stretch your dollar there.

Zip codes in North Las Vegas start with "890." So these are not in NLV.

89084 and 89085 are especially nice areas.

We are in 89113 SW area and like it very much. Very nice safe area without getting too pricey. Highway and shopping are convenient (bus not so much).
