    Longest westie post ever!!!!!

    But very, very good!!

No way I give Veronic "4 Claps" though, my g/f actually fell asleep during it! But I agree the country portion was terrible (except Reba).

And curious, since it sounds like you may have kept good track...number of hands/coin-in at deuces? And how many deuces? I counted 5, I think... No Royals? :( And what game did you play at the bar at Ellis? I am Quick Quads all the way there!!

I actually had 7 quad deuces and my wife 1, but neither of us hit a royal thus the loss. We played the quarter NSUD that are located near the player's club at Ellis.

You stayed on the same floor of the MC that we did, and it almost looks like me in your photo of check in. on the end in the orange...LOL Crazy. We almost went to the the same exhibit but ended up just walking the strip instead.

Is the Paseo Verde the Library east of the Silver Sevens on Swenson or Maryland?

No, Paseo is out near Green Valley Ranch Resort. I think you may be thinking of the main branch of Clark County library on Flamingo a few miles past Silver Sevens. We used to frequent it, but last I knew they no longer allow non residents to use the computers.

You never fail to deliver a great report.

Is Ronald's donuts the only non-casino place you always dine? That's a major compliment from a discerning critic like you.

    Where is Art of Flavors?

    Frank,
When we get the T2V TR HOF up and running, you will certainly be in the first group of contributors to go in.

Yes, in the interest of matrimonial harmony, I make it a point to stop in at least once for an apple fritter.

Art of Flavors is located at 1616 LV Blvd near its junction with Oakey Blvd and just north of The STRAT . It is in a small shopping plaza it shares with Viva Las Arepas - the owner of which co-owns of Art of Flavors.

Thanks for the nice comment on the TR.

Thanks for the report on Fat Choy's Sunday menu. Are there on a Friday last time and it was good, but not great. The Sunday menu looks a lot better

We went during the lunch on a prior trip and the short rib grilled cheese was very good, but the pork belly bao was just okay. Given the absence of diners on Sunday, I just hope they continue serving the brunch.

Thank you for the trip report. I especially loved reading about your food explorations through-out the Vegas valley.

I like that you know the Vegas roads enough to go exploring different places to eat, drink, and seek entertainment. Makes good use of your car rental, and keep entertainment costs down vs. taxis, buses, etc.

Always look forward to your TR's and food pics.

    Thanks again!

    Trip Reports

Just love reading your trip reports and was wondering when your next trip is planned? We enjoy vegas twice a year and want to thank you for Ronalds. We can't go home until we have an apple fritter.

Can't believe it's taken so long for me to read this. You always do a great job of showing the places (and food) that many of us will never experience on our Vegas trips. When is the next one??

Oh, my goodness, westie, what a delightful trip report. I just love to read about food in Las Vegas and see the photos of what you're writing about. My Las Vegas companions (my 3 sisters) and I are foodies and always searching for neat places to eat. We rent a car, too, so are free to explore obscure dining opportunities. Thank you for taking the time to share all of the details. I really enjoyed your report!
