When looking over my fall offers every property says Black Out dates November 4th - 7th?? Everything other day through the rest of the year its game on.

I know Holiday Gift Shoppe is at the end of November. Anyone have any idea why these days are black listed?

    Sema Show

Sema auto show is during those dates. Very huge convention. You just have to call to see if they allow you to stay, but most likely they are sold out. You'd have to book months in advance.

    Communist sympathizers, perhaps?

Or it could be the SEMA show.

I was there during SEMA last year and pd about $175 for NYNY. This year I will be going to the Cosmo the week before for about $200 (fountain view with balcony).

Sema people were all over last year, every hotel from Excal to Wynn.

    130000 of them!

The LV convention schedule is a pretty good planning tool that lets you guess when room rates will be high and the town crowded.

Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week is the 2nd or 3rd biggest convention that Las Vegas has each year, depending if the Construction Expo is being held.
