Word on the streets of Vegas is that Leonard Ellerbe, Floyd's trainer, told someone he didn't want Floyd to take the Canelo fight and they were forced into it by Showtime. He "has a feeling" Floyd is going to lose is what he told this person. ALSO. The story on All Access about Canelo making the catch weight is false. Floyd TRIED to make 147 or 150. Canelo agrees to 152. ALSO Floyd tried to have a second day weigh in but Canelo and his people said no way. They tried to make Canelo keep quiet about the 2nd day weigh in stipulation and he did UNTIL NOW. Can you smell an upset coming??Plus the line is -270. yup

In all of my years going to Vegas, that is one thing still on my Vegas bucket list. See a championship fight. I've seen fights in Vegas, but they were always "second class" fights, but very entertaining. We even saw a couple of female bouts and they are even more entertaining.

Now, about his fight. It really wouldn't surprise me if Mayweather lost this one. The fight business needs a champion that's more active, helping to promote an already beat to death sport that seems to be on the downward slide for years.

Win, lose or draw, that's an obscene amount of money Mayweather is getting for this fight.

I have known since day one that mayweather is over rated.

Canelo is going to win this fight.

I'm not there but my money would be on Mayweather. I am no fan, but Canelo is a media creation. IMO, he only has one or two good wins under his belt. He's got power, but his style is too straight ahead. Mayweather is too fast for him and gets a unanimous decision

Canelo via KO/TKO/DQ +539 seems like the only bet worth making.

I'm no Mayweather fan but I think he's going to pick Canelo apart for the reasons mentioned. Amazing how they do such a good job (for the 100th time) of making this "the one guy Mayweather shouldn't want to fight - the one guy who has the power to end it!" fight hype.

Sure there's a chance, but nothing in his background shows he has much of one.

I'd put a little money on a KO just so I could hope for it... :)

Yeah, even though I said it wouldn't surprise me to see Mayweather upset, I don't see it happening. Even at 36, I think he's still too fast for Canelo, both in hand speed and foot movement, avoiding power punches.

Most sports bars will have it for a small cover (~$10)

I know Buffalo Wild Wings always shows the big UFC and Boxing PPVs

You need to show up atleast 2 hours before the card starts to get a seat though...thats the case in AZ atleast...

ESPN just announced that 33 million is expected to be bet in the Vegas books on this fight alone.

I dont think he will be able to lay a good glove on Mayweather, but there is always the punchers chance.

I REALLY want to throw some $$$ on Canelo, but just can't seem pull the trigger... his straight ahead style is made for Mayweather to stick and move on all night.

Majority decision? Is it any wonder this sport is dying?

Of course, I'm not a boxing expert...maybe the judges aren't actually required to watch the fight.

What a laugher that was. Money is still the man.

It amazes me that CJ Ross is still allowed to judge at all, let alone big fights like this.

    CJ Ross is awful. Awful!

The next guy up for Mayweather should be Philly's Danny Garcia. That fight would be the one that gets me to Vegas to cross seeing a fight there off my bucket list.

    Philly fighters baby!
