Im looking at hiring a car for 2 days in November but as far as im aware all the major companies will only rent to you if you have a credit card. Iv found this company, http://www.24hourcarrental.com/LasVegas.NV.aspx who say they allow you to pay a cash deposit. Has anyone ever used this company or know anything about them?

Alamo allows use of a debit card. Just show them your return flight number.

A friend used a debit card one time to rent with them.
They held the cost of the rental on her debit card just like they hold the cost of the rental on a credit card.
No holding of an extra amount in my numerous rentals from them.
If you rent with cash they want a "security deposit"

Avis does a cash option. You must contact them and they pre-qualify you and send you a one time use card for rental. Not sure of the complete procedure but they will do it.

    This^^
It's just a matter of paying for the rental up front. No extra "hold" was placed on my account, at least not at Alamo. Just have to give them your return flight number.
