I have a host at WynnCore. The last five stays I email her and she hooks a room up for me free of charge. As such, I never get promotional emails. Or at least I haven't for the last three or four years. Suddenly, BAM, I get an email from their promotions offering me rates of $129 to $149 this summer. I'm wondering what's up with this sudden change. Last time I was there I have them some decent play and I do have. Five comped nights booked for late fall. At least I did when my host booked them for me six months ago...

Please post an answer when you find out, but did you email your host and ask?

I know nothing of Wynn, but with Boyd I book all my rooms through a host, but still get monthly snail mail offers.

I book my Wynn stays with a host but still get offers from casino marketing. Sometimes those offers are good, but often they are far worse than what my host does for me.

I wouldn't worry about it until you actually email her and don't get a response.

the promo emails have nothing to do with a host. they come from a completely different department.

The only concern about receiving a mailer with a rather uninspired offer is that several casino organizations send out different mailings to different levels of player for the same promotion or event. For example, I might get a $99 offer for three nights and a slot tourney with $20 food credit, while a bigger player might get the tourney, free room, food and drinks, plus a couple hundred in play. If you have landed on a low level for offers, that same information in the computer could make a difference to your host as well.

Check with your host. All may be well.

It's possible the previous emails were getting caught by your spam filter and they mad e achange on their end which allows them to get to you now.

Call you host though and don't worry about the promotion emails.

We've never stayed at Wynn's but have played there enough(5 yrs ago) that we have both a host and get marketing offers. In the past couple of months we've been getting both marketing offers which include free suite nights, free play, and r and b credit, as well as other offers more along the lines of those you're describing. What is interesting is that we didn't get the marketing offers until our previous host left and we were assigned a new host.

Some have come in within days of ea other and I assumed that some came from the casino marketing dep't while others from the online marketing dept. In other words the latter being those offers that one typically gets from either going to the website, signing into red card etc.

I know we still have our host, and we also still have the "free" ( so to spk:rolleyes2:) suite offers from marketing so the other offers have to be coming from elsewhere.

Email has been sent to inquire. Will inform about the outcome when I hear back. Thanks for the perspectives from all of you.

I have offers for suites, food, etc.

But, I still get emails with $99 rates, etc. Just how it is.

Sent an email inquiring, but no response. Happened to be in town so asked a random host to look up my account. Reso for fall still made and same host still attached to me. Glad I don't need to start considering Resort King rooms for 159 a night. That would suuuuuuck.
