My husband was wondering what kind of IPA's are served in the casino's, does anyone know? We live in Oregon and there are a bunch of "microbrews" that come from this area.

Can't remember the name, but PJ Clark's in Forum Shoppes has a nice one on tap. $3 at happy hour, along with the $1 oysters. Chicago Brew Co. in the Four Queens offers an IPA; I'm not sure if the micro brew at Main St. Station offers one or not.

But just about any place that has beer other than Miller or Coors probably has a good selection to choose from. If you're a beer junkie, you'll be able to sniff them out. :)

Lots of them available at 32 Below (M Resort), and you can Sierra Nevada from the floor waitresses.

They probably won't have HUB or Ninkasi, but they may carry Deschutes or Bridgeport. ? maybe ?

I haven't had much luck with finding the smaller breweries on the casino floor. Many casinos will have one of the bigger "micros" like Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada or New Belgium. There's craft brewed (on the premesis) beer at MSS and (off premesis) Ellis Island and Four Queens. I'm pretty sure the best craft / import selection I've seen at a strip casino is the Book and Stage bar at the Cosmopolitan.

If you're willing to pay for your beers, then Vegas has some great places to go. There's Aces and Ales, Money Plays, Tenaya Creek Brewery, BJ's, Park on Fremont (downtown), 32 Degrees (M Resort) and Pour 24 (NYNY) to name a few.

Check out The Pub at MC, supposedly the most extensive beer selection in Vegas. I did a quick count scrolling down their menu and counted no less that 15 Oregon brews (only one IPA - Widmer Nelson)

IIRC, the CET props don't have Sierra Nevada comped. I can't even recall if they have any IPAs comped.

Main St Station has an IPA as part of their selected brews. They have several other great choices as well. You can get these comped. I also think you can get a pint for $2 after midnight.

If you play video poker the book and stage in Cosmo may be the best place to get them comped.. Maybe not the largest selection but they have some harder to find stuff and I remember several ipa in particular.

I'm not an IPA fan but my brother is and he claims the one upstairs at Chicago Brewing Co, inside Four Queens, is one of the best he has had. YMMV.
