I've never booked a room through total rewards, but I have this offer: Enjoy 2 free nights (where available) or calendar rates @ Planet Hollywood, Paris, Rio, Harrah's, Flamingo, Bally's or The Quad! Valid 08/01/13-08/31/13. Does that mean that I do have 2 free nights or I get calendar rates? I'm confused. I tried a couple different dates in August, but they definitely were not free nights. Book without using an offer. Just use the rate calendar. Then come back and let us know how it worked out.
Always check the rate calendar first and play around with the room selections. If it was a corporate offer that you received, it should have came with an offer code. You can also verify that on your TR account in My Offers.
If you click the offer("check availability") it should take you to an August calendar with the promo nights shown and other nights blocked that the offer isn't available. By the time you get the offer and check it out there isnt too much left, so I would follow what nostresshere says and just check the calendar under reservations after you signed in and see what's offered. Probably better than the promo.
