Are these CET hosts or a 3rd party?

I found this site on vpfree2 listing hosts for CET properties. But its a really sketchy looking site that doesn't seem to be affiliated with CET and I can't even tell who its affiliated with. I want to get in contact with a CET host in Vegas (only play at CET in AC) and before doing so was just wondering if anyone here knows what the deal is with these guys listed on this site:

yeah, looked sketchy - and still not really sure the purpose of the site. None the less, they appear to be legit CET hosts - note that they all have CET related emails.

I would just call the property you want to stay at and ask to speak to a host (or get a referral from your AC host if you have one)

Somebody took the time to build this site, include pics, bios, etc.

But - it does not say what and who they are.

Agreed - the emails appear to be to harrahs.com (not caesars.com by the way).

    Strange.

Yeah I checked those same things. Nothing to go on with the LLC's name. Their emails are both caesars.com and harrahs.com.

I don't have a host in AC. Was never approached by one and never sought one out. I'm typically good for around 2500-3000 daily tier points before bonuses. Right now I'm mid-level Diamond for the year with around 40k tier.

The Vegas sites for Caesars and PH (the only two I'm interested in) don't list any hosts. I'm not interested in much, I already have a comped room booked there for half my trip (other half at an MGM casino) and just wanted to ask about upgrading me to a suite and if he could do anything for Celine tickets (my girlfriend's choice). I don't know if a comp is feasible but maybe a discount if they can do something like that.

In terms of dining credit I have so much between RCs, the $100 celebratory dinner, and buffet pass from the Visa that I'm not looking for anything there. Especially since we'll be traveling around the region a lot those days so will have some meals out.

    I know them...

They are independent reps. I occasionally get mailers from them. They try and I think are allowed to look as affiliated as possible. To me that's a hard gig but I know one of the chicks on there has some big clients. Go figure.

they will use you rc credits for tickets unless you book them thru a marketing promo.

best thing to do is when you get there play and if you taker a big hit then ask for a host to see if they will comp you anything.theres always a host on duty you can ask for one or just call now and ask for a host and see what they might be able to do for you.

just rember cet is very cheap with vegas comps as its there 1 place so they dont have to comp out alot to get people there.

ps when checkin in just ask what kind of room you got and if its not your liking see if they can help you at checkin.you might already get a free upgrade depends on ocupancy.

This year I decided to give CET a try after 13 years of loyalty to MGM. I reached out to Rose Young through CET and gave her my play history at MGM. Her email is *@caesars.com. She set me up with a nice suite at PH. She has been pretty responsive and has set me up with additional comps for concerts, fights, shows, etc. Nothing was taken from my RC's.

Now that it has been a few months and 4 trips to Vegas with CET, we have over 200 offers online. I dont think she is offering me much more than I can get online. My MGM hosts always went way beyond what I saw online. But, what she does do is set it all up. I use her like a concierge and let her know the dates we are coming. She finds the best room, best comps, and packages it all together.

I have dealt with Jeff Glantz (one of the hosts listed) personally while staying in Vegas. He is/was definitely a CET host at the time. He didn't work with just one of the CET properties, he was mobile and worked with you wherever you were staying. I have a local international host who makes all of our arrangements for Vegas or AC but then we are assigned a local host/rep to deal with anything that comes up. Jeff was that guy for the past 2 years in Vegas.

CET has independent marking reps who's job is to drive traffic to properties. They can book your offers and act as personal travel planners. I met up with one on AC junket. They look, feel, and smell like hosts but do not have real time access to your play. They only make money if you hit expected Theo play for a trip. In terms of offers, they can not do much more than cet marketing outside of get you a better room, and give you personalized service. If you are a big player they may front you something, but if you do not okay at expected levels it effects there companies bottom line. On the plus side they have affiliation with multiple casinos so you are not locked into CET. For my level of play they were not giving me anything I could not get myself.

Thanks for the info guys. I just emailed one of them after exchanging PMs with 2VegasNuts. Figure its worth a shot, if I don't hear back with anything useful I can just politely let them know I'm not interested and then contact the hotels directly for a host. I do kind of like the idea of a general CET host who isn't overly concerned about me being at any specific property, plus independent reps should be hungry....

I'll be sure to post what transpires.

This is pretty much how it is with my CET host. I can book most everything myself if I wanted, like the combo offers, you know, the "Room and a show" or "Room and free play" offers, but where she does help is assuring my room is a renovated or upgraded to a suite, she can book limo service, get me show tickets, but at the end, she takes all my RC's and anything left after that is done on discretionary comps.
IMO, that's where the difference comes in with the use of a host with CET.
Yeah, you can do most of it all yourself, but your host can just be more like a concierge and assure things are taken care of and in order, then at the end of your trip, you just walk out and your host checks you out of the hotel and your removes any charges.

Check your online offers for Celine Tickets. I am in the barely diamond category I got a decent room offer that includes tickets to either Celine or Rod Stewart. If you dont have it listed, try calling the Diamond reservation line; you may have the offer associated with your account.

    Just a quick update....

I corresponded with one of the hosts on that site (not the one I PM'd a member about) and he seems like a good guy.

He upgraded my normal comped room I booked at PH to a Strip Suite but couldn't do anything for the concert tickets. Like I said, I haven't played in a CET casino in Vegas for at least 5 years so I think its fair. I didn't ask about anything else because there is nothing else I really cared for nor really expected upfront anyway.

After that we're moving to MGM into a similar class "faux-suite" which is disappointing given that I'm good for more play there and have had a lot of history with all their top properties in Vegas.
