I have an investment condo close to the strip that I've been trying to have my realtor rent out, with no luck so far. Any advice on places to list the unit (besides MLS and Craigslist)?

VRBO is how I found my rental.

You should be able to rent it out for the summer as a lot of professional poker players travel to Vegas for the WSOP.

Didn't Vegas outlaw homes for short term rent other than the ones grandfathered in?

No. Lots of the new condo's are still renting out for short term. Depends upon the homeowners rules.

im renting right by the strip and coming from nyc i found realitors out here to be real shitty.

in nyc they will take you around and show anything here brokers wont ,i had one tell after 3 times i can either put an offer on a place or hes done with me ,i had another say he usually only takes people out once and hers done.
i was told it wasnt worth there time and gas to do any more becuase they get about 300$ if you rent it only.
so my only suggestion is offer them an incentive by more money otherwise they just dont care.

once i figured out there area i wanted to live in finding it was easy but brokers where very fustrating.

if i may ask what building

I had that issue with realtors also. I looked around for someone to show me some properties, and they refused unless I was ready to buy immediately. I just wanted to look at some places to get an idea of what was out there. I thought it was kind of weird that they would not show people around.

Did you really get that unit for 209K? What a steal!

Post it in the "General Marketplace" section on the 2+2 poker message board, you should have no problem renting it out as long as you're not looking for a ridiculous rent.

We found a great realtor when we went looking for a home. He helped us find it, acted as our general contractor for some minor upgrades, found our renters, and runs a property management company and is acting landlord for us. He's been great.
