We are celebrating our 20th anniversary next month at the Golden Nugget. I have a Carson Room booked already. Has anybody asked and got an upgrade for your anniversary there? We are going to ask when we check in but I just thought I'd ask here and see if any of you had any luck? Thanks!

Congrats. I did my 10th there. I had a blast. I didn't try for an upgrade but I suppose you could try the 'ol $20 trick.

I'd avoid the buffet. We got a free buffet, and I felt ripped off.

    Have fun.

We were there in October for our anniversary. I had politely asked if a possible room upgrade would be possible since we were celebrating our anniversary. She politely declined my request but gave us a room with a view of the strip. It turned out the safe was broken so they moved us to a lower floor with a view of the bus terminal.

Happy anniversary to us! I hope you have much better luck than we did and I hope you have a very Happy Anniversary!

We checked in on my actual birthday and I also had a Landry's card. They said NO before I could even get out the entire question about complimentary upgrades!

We got the room furthest from the elevator. It was the furthest room down, next to stairs.

We will never stay there again, but the room was clean and sufficient.

No, but they would very much like to introduce one, if they ever do I will return to staying on the main strip.
