Has anyone else noticed the volatility in Virgin America pricing lately? I was able to book a roundtrip on Tuesday for the 1st week in June for only $278 (JFK-LAS). Now it's back up to $380. I've been flying with them about 3-4x a year and haven't seen swings like this.

Also, has anyone gotten a Main Cabin Express seat? I hate going through the normal security lanes at JFK (Normally 45 min+) , so the $30 would be worth it to me just for that. If they go unfilled could I possibly have a row to myself?

    Thanks!

Airlines often adjust their prices on the fly when some other airline has a sale.

So if JetBlue throws a quickie sale that includes the JFK - LAS route, VirginAmerica might drop their own prices for a couple of days without announcing it.
